If he did he would have 6 US Opens and 6 World Championships. I for one would love to see this done by some one right here in the USA ,to go deeper North Carolina !!! Yeah ,Earl has his way of being special at times but I truely believe he is a good guy and has done alot for the sport. One night he was carrying on talking at a tournament and told the story about being born in NC and when he was around 7 or so he was standing by the river and had a feeling in his gut that someone else great had arrived in the area ,low and behold it was Michael Jordan ....right there in NC . Oh well you had to be there I guess .:wink:
 
a fantastic final 4 would be Mike Sigel, Earl, Efren, and our own Carlos 2 fast 4 fleas

Congrats Jesse. Well I guess you guys can forget about ole earl doin much this year. His head can't bring him through after that.

didn't Earl reel off like 8 wins , reciently when

he was trying to comeback on the looser side of the us open??. I'll bet Earl starts smoking tonight. mark
 
I'm less concerned with how Earl wins, but more concerned about his victory celebration. I can imagine him strip topless and run a few rounds around the table and finally jump on it and snaps his cue. I wonder what would come out of his mouth though

Earl will have his hands full winning the Open after this match. He could have won this match with just one roll going his way. It was close in the last game, but a safety error got Earl and Jesse got a roll in the last game. I'd love to see Earl pull it off, but the odds are high against him.....

The odds are against everyone at the Open. Last year Mika lost his first match and came back through the whole one loss side to win. Who are the best players in the world right now? Shane? Where is he?? As someone said last year when Earl was making a run at it "Nodody will win the U.S Open 5 times, but Earlo might win it 6" Go EARL!
