Well that's just gay!!
This is an argument I see all the time. Here is the problem....
Just because somebody is educated and versed enough to know the
phrase "how gay" is offensive, and should not be used in a
public forum, doesn't make that person homosexual.
What you have done is correlated "social intelligence" with homosexuality. In short, what you did was call somebody homosexual just because they know how to handle speaking in public better than you do. But, by all means, continue this behavior of making yourself look bad.
Your definition is skewed just like the people that take offense in it.
Seeing that about 10% of Americans claim they are gay, its a term that identifies a practice that's a minority. Just the same as saying thats a hillbilly fix, or the way they play 8 ball as compared to the majority. Cowboy up and get over it
Please; and all the girly avatars and offhand sexual comments about girls are not offensive in a public forum? The law "basically" finds that sexual harassment is in the eye of the offended. When was the last time you reprimanded someone for female sexual comments here? So who is it offensive to? I find it offensive If they hit on me, but I don't call them uneducated for doing so.

You aren't following my logic correctly if you think a gay guy should be called uneducated for hitting on you. Why would he be uneducated?
Hey, i'm over it.... i was never "under it" in fact. Yet, It's just not really a kosher thing to say publicly, and it seems many people don't know that. Whatever, keep saying it.
Fair point about the avatars, but the gay remark is going further -- you are associating homosexuals with something bad. The statement promotes bigotry. If someone says other offensive statements about women as you say, maybe they will get called on that. But like I said, have at it if you'd like, but don't think you don't sound and look like a mental midget to some, that's all. Maybe you don't care, and that's fine too.
And by the way, I hate those idiotic bar rules.

I found all of those rules come out when playing in bars against players that can't play but think they are the greatest. As soon as they see that they are getting beat they start making up/changing the rules. Naturally these rules become known after you already made the shot.
As someone wrote if you survive that game you can definitely use those rules against them. The problem is you still won't win because you are usually out numbered and if you get into a money game chances are you won't get paid so you may as well leave and find another place to play. They are called bar fights because that is where they happen.

U are leading us to believe that you have never encountered the strange 8 ball rules found all over the usa!
Perhaps these rules came about because there were no rule books to B found in most of american bars!
Best thing as a previous post mentioned just say NO to 8 Ball and learn how to play a skill game like One Hole or 14.1.

I call 'em like I see 'em and I saw that a lot from tons of kids on the pc games forums in the early '90s. Seldom hear an adult use it, though. And I've never heard your definition. And really don't care. It's all about how you present yourself. I only commented because I knew what would happen.
