What is your favorite cue?

Just wondering what everyone likes and why you like it.

I've got too many cues. My 2 favorite production cues
are a 20 year old Meucci " Diamond" and a Mcdermott
" Sierra".
My favorite customs are Jacoby, Dale Perry and Jeff Olney.
I also like Mike Stacey & Jerry Rauenzahn.
Of course, so far I can't afford the higher end cues
but if I hadn't bought all these cues I could have had
one or two expensive ones. Duh!

favorites

Playing:
1996 custom Jacoby
1974 plain TAD
1984 custom Scruggs
???? Scruggs Titlist conversion

Looking:

Early Adam Corsair
All ivory inlaid Pechauer

Why not ..

just refer him to last week's "What's your favorite cue" thread.
This is done almost every week.

i rank my Nova Custom by Nubs Wagner and my Chad Carter Custom Cue about equal in all areas. i could close my eyes and pick one and be happy either way.

My favorite is of course my BCM.

I've never played with either of these cues but Samsera and Jerry McWorter just make some great looking stuff IMO. Those two and PFD Studios would be my favorite designers of cues.

I love my Scruggs, of course. Why ? Because the balance is perfect for me and the hit is just what I was looking for 15 years.

Very happy with my Capone...but I am looking to upgrade to a higher level Capone.

It's hard to say. I think all my cues play well, but my favorite right now is my latest Skip Weston! It's what I am playing with currently.

Pictures are in the Skip weston thread linked in my signature!

My Balabushka

My (over 40 year old) Balabushka still hits as solid as when new. Perfect balance(17.25 in) & weight (20.25oz). I have over 20 shafts for it, some from George & some from Gus.
Buddy says it is the sweetest hitting cue he has ever played with & I agree.
Too valuable to play with everyday so I put it in a safety deposit box along with the authentication papers from John Wright.
I also got tired of having to keep such a close eye on it.
I now play with a Lucasi I found on eBay for $79 and (now that I'm used to it) can't really tell any difference in my ability to play.
It is soooo nice not having to worry about it getting stolen. I can set it down and (except for my playing contact lenses) if it gets stolen, so what?

Over 20 shafts ? Wow, never heard someone has so many shafts for just one butt. Very nice...

I have to say this, sorry if i offend anyone but what about Jenna Jamison. She has alot of shafts for her butt. :D :D :D :D For those who do not know her she is a porn star.

I'm really bonding quickly with my old Scruggs Sneaky Pete that I got yesterday - had Triangle tips put on the shafts today. But my favorite is still my Cocobola Rauenzahn.

Of others I've shot with I really like Josey and Stacey wood-to-wood joint cues.

I was at brian's shop yesterday and he's working on a cue that has a lightly colored cocobolo forearm with lacewood points that i'm sure will turn out sweet.

I couldn't agree with you more. A "cheap" cue that plays well is wonderful. But be careful: there are some out there who will steal anything...

Here goes: I have a Meucci Hall of Fame #2, originally made for Buddy Hall I'm told, with two modified, tweaked, tricked out, black-dot shafts... love 'em...

Also a cheapie Excalibur sneaky pete with modified shaft...

They both are sweet hittin', ball pottin' poolplayer slayers......

I play with a Dale Perry as an everyday cue....but my love is my Huebler.

I've owned the cue for 20 years and I bought it used!

I have shot with lots of different cues over the years, but can't say that a single one of them was "better" than my Huebler.
