What Is Your Favorite Table ?

My favorite table is the diamond. I think it is by far the most truest of any brand. You must make the ball. In other words , balls dont get pocketed that touch the rail, at an angle, 4 or 5 inches up the rail such as you see on some of the matches on ESPN with especially Oldhausen tables....I think Brunswick comes in a close 2nd......As far as the bar boxes, There is no bar box in the world that compares to the DIAMOND SMART TABLE......WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ?
 
My neighbor has a new Diamond Pro with Tour Blue 860 cloth ... I really like the way it plays and those super tight pockets are a real challenge ...
 
I like my table. 9 foot gandy. 6 legs, maple with colonial stain. great, convient location. As far as the commercial tables at the halls go, I like the ones with good set up. The diamonds are excellent.

Diamond Pro Am, for the exact same reason. Plus the diamondwood is an added bonus in both durability and looks. IMHO

I have to go with Diamond tables as well. GCs are okay too in my book as are Kim Steel. A couple of things cosmetically I don't care for with Diamonds are the black panels they use to cover the ball returns and sometimes they don't match the wood on the sides as well as they could. I'm also not crazy about the large "Diamond" on the vertical end panels, but maybe these are just on ex-tournament or pool room tables. Perhaps someone could enlighten me on this. But there is nothing I would rather play on.

Sometime in the next week, Diamond Billiards and Sports Bar is going to have their Grand Opening. 14 9 foot Diamond tables and 8 7 foot Diamond Smart Tables. Everyone in Ft. Myers, Cape Coral and the surrounding area is counting the days. I was in there earlier this week to check it out and it is going to be far and away the best room south of Tampa on the west coast of Florida. Pardon me if my excitement shows.
 
I'm kinda partial to Gold Crowns, having owned a few. I like the way they play and I'd like to challenge you to hit a ball 4 to 5 inches up the rail on my table and still pocket the ball....:D

I want the ole days where ever place had a couple 5-10 snooker tables and 5-10 pool tables. Play 1 pocket and straight pool on these and then you'll have learned the games. Go to the movie the hustler all straight pool played on the 5-10, no pinball, no liquor- just pool. mark
