What Is Your Specialty Shot?

My best shot is the roll up safety. I spent a lot of hours practicing getting the cue ball to freeze right up to the object ball (or close to it). Anytime I get in trouble, I usually look for a ball to freeze up to and it has saved my bacon many times.

My favorite shot is to miss by a diamond an easy down the rail corner shot while under pressure and fluke it 2 rails in the side. That one drives my opponent crazy. :D

I like the 4-rail bank. On the Valleys that I play on regularly, I'm probably even money to make it, maybe a little more. That's good enough for me.

I'm gotten really comfortable shooting all kinds of shots rail first. I don't think you see these shots as much as you used to since the equipment has gotten tighter. I can't believe how rarely I see guys go rail first on bar tables. I go rail first quite a bit and it has gotten me out of a lot of jams. I practice them a lot at home and you can get quite confident shooting them.

Spot shot

I can make a good old fashioned spot shot...or anything close to it...most every time. Object ball on or near the spot, cue ball on or near the head string between the head spot and second diamond on the long rail. Like opening a can of peas.

Easy.....

I dazzle my opponent with banks.

I mesmerize my opponent with kicks.

I embarrass myself with straight-ins. :o

I have favorite wacky shots, but nothing that I can make 9 out of 10.

Crossover banks near the side, holding the cb with inside as it goes 2 rail back where it started...are fun, and occaisionally useful....that's a bonus.

Getting perfect position on my next shot with the Q-ball... while masterfully jawing the pocket with the object ball. I seem to be getting real good at that lately.

Other than that it would have to be the full table bank and cross-bank with the OB close or frozen to the short rail. I just have confidence that I can make those if there is an open path and I probably drop about 75% (or much better) when I'm on.

There is one I always seem to hit pretty well. Wish I could Wei , but no

It is a safe, ob on end rail and cb toward other end of table, thin the on and bring cb 2 or 3 rails back to other end of table to hide behind ball(s) near the corner.

I have many

Cue ball flying off the table on the break...especially in straight pool and 1 pocket. Somebody can lose an eye.
