What kind of case is it?

It's covered in leather. I've had it for probably 20 years and I just don't remember what it is and there is no marking.

it's from before Sam Engles started making cases and it's different from his too. It looks a lot like an It's George but they were marked very plainly, it's not a Centennial either because of the catch

As a production case, I don't think its a It's George because I don't see a stitched side seam sticking out in any of the pictures. Can you show a picture of the side seam?

Here is an example of an early Its George. Fellini style latch, no pouch (later innovation).

Spktur is probably right, Centennial's don't use a metal latch, but teflon o-ring to keep the case closed.

Here is a Ron Thomas with same style latch and plastic end caps. Signature is inside the cap, and he's been making them since 1987, 22 years.

i believe that is a schon case. if you know of anyone with a fellini to match it to i will bet the top on yours is larger. i had one very similar to yours with the same type of interior.

I'm gonna agree with Guy, it looks to be a Schon. Selling cues for Bill, you are familiar with the size of the Kelli's. If this case is larger, I am almost positive it is a Schon.

I believe it is a Mike Roberts "ITS GEORGE",these were before he made the side seams, some are marked or labeled some are not.I could be wrong but I bought over 200 of his cases and it looks familiar. I have never seen a schon case and the engles ,kelly, and fellini had leather tops.Hangemhigh is more of an expert on cases, but as I said I owned 200+ of these Its George cases and I respectively disagree with the man from Tennessee

Hey Dean, you are probably correct, I am just guessing about the case. I too have never seen a Schon with the plastic end caps, so this very well could be a gem of an example of an early It's George. BTW, your package went out today, be there Wednesday.

It may be an early George case. I have one from around 1985 that does not have the It's George logo on the end. There is no stitching on the leather at the seam and it has the same latch and lining as yours.

Other than the signature it does look just like the Thomas. And Tommy it is a little bigger than the Kelli. That's a Kelli it's propped up on in the pics. Tommy this is Jerry from Chattanooga, how's things going with you?

Hello Jerry Moody! Things are great here, how are things with you? I figured that was a Kelli, does it have your Silver McDaniel inside? You ought to post some pics of that masterpiece.

Hey Tommy, I'm doing good, retired now and just kinda taking it easy and playing a little and smoking some cigars. I'll take some pics of the silver McDaniel and post them up. Be talking to you. Jerry

I had an original It's George (same color with one short pocket) exactly like it with the same style latch.......
