What Kind of Chalk Does Jayson Shaw Use?

It's not something I've ever looked at/for before - I just found it interesting how one of the best players in the world basically never chalks. Many really good players around here have often preached the need for a consistent PSR including chalking before each shot. If nothing else, he showed emphatically that it's not absolutely necessary.

When I switched to Taom (Pyro) I did so with the purpose of keeping my new Simonis clean. I was amazed at the fact that once I chalked up my shooting cue I could shoot a whole rack of 8 ball without the tip ever needing chalking. The Taom leaves a good coat of chalk on the tip without effort and I also noticed that, after umpteen hours of playing, the chalk still looks brand new. (?)

He's playing a lot of shots with centerball or slight spin. I've watched him play 9b and he chalks more often.

I regularly use Master. I generally only chalk the tip if I intend to use a lot of spin or speed, or after a power shot. If shooting soft, the chalk stays on the tip much longer.

Amazing achievement! Something that stood out to me was he never chalked while going through a rack. Anyone know what kind of chalk he uses?

Well Taom Inc. should get in touch with him as quickly as possible so he can be their representative for a modest sum, along with who ever Tips
he is using , along with his cue manufacturer . Same for the folks that manufactured the above for John Schmidt 's run.
