It's a 2 piece cue his hand is covering the joint. It's a snooker cue for sure. RIP Mr. Bowie

Pretty sure it's a snooker cue he's holding....although the tip looks untypical large...
...but the butt has a chamfer with a name plate and a flame at the grip end....
....a usual for snooker.

But David has a connection with the pool world also......
David Bowie starred in 'The Man Who Fell to Earth....
....written by pool's own Walter Tevis.

Rest in peace, Mr Bowie

One-of-a-kind is too small for him - he was several one-of-a-kinds during his career.

A one-piece with a black ferrule.
Judging by the flattened butt it's a snooker cue, maybe with a tarnished brass ferrule - maybe even a joint under his hand? Expensive, judging by the socks.

Any guess on the year? based on his hair, I'd say it was during the Low / Heroes era.

RIP, Mr. Bowie... a true original.

Ziggy played guitar... and a bit of snooker.
