I kept getting cues because I kept coming up with new designs I wanted to have made.
Ergo, another custom cue got ordered. I have two more designs in mind, one being a
baseball theme cue and the other a Celtic theme. Alas, without being able to order cues
with ivory any longer has curtailed that ambition. So now it's down to adding a cue-maker
I have admired since the early 2000's and if I could land that one, I am essentially done.
There are a lot of Azers that know exactly what I'm referring to and I have some measure
of hope sooner or later one of them will turn me onto the cue I am looking for. And know
what, if it never happens, so what. It's better to have aspired and dreamed than sit with
regret and frustration over not getting what you yearn for. It's that way in life so why not
also with pool cues as well. Heck, it's not like I am hard up for a cue to play with.....Duh?
But some of the guys reading this will know exactly what I mean. When you have that
itch, sometimes it's just got to get scratched or else you never tire of trying. And the funny
part is after it gets scratched, sometimes it seems like it was not as important as it seemed
before when you still had a terrible itch. I have cues I don't use much any more and yet I
still crave a cue yet to be found. So my search continues up until my itch gets scratched.
