What player do you model your game after?

I have modeled my game after a little known player in Denver.
Measureman is his name.He is an old guy and doesn't play as good as when he was younger but I like his style.

At 74 I am revamping my game for Modern conditions.
The player I study the most is Thorsten.
He seems to have the bet fundamentals.

I try to imagine how John Candy would play pool, based on what I've seen of his golf game, and play that way.

I really enjoyed watching George Brundt who was out of Wisconsin play. I was a kid when he came into Raytown Rec and played one of the top players in the City "Elwood" Rick Thompson. George gave Rick the 7 ball and beat him. He was smooth and had a slow but rhythmic style that I tried to copy.

There is a name from the past. I played him a few times, a real good player. One of those effortless looking players. Looked like he may never miss he made it look so easy. Is he still around? I would be guessing at his age but maybe over 70.

I heard George passed away maybe 5 or 10 years ago of a heart attack. He was always a good gin player but I heard he got into playing poker.
