What shoes do you wear to play pool in?

I agree with the Keen sandals! This summer I didn't wear shoes one time to pool....wore my Keen sandals...they are the best. Unfortunately...it's now too cold to wear em for me.

Short of snow on the ground...I'll put thick socks on and still wear 'em! But we PacNorthWetters are funky that way...LoL!! :p

I got some skate board shoes that I can't stand walking in....but I really like playing in them since they are so stable....

but i really like playing barefooted.....i usually do unless the room owner gripes or something....I wear sandals alot and will just kick them off and hit balls....

got hooked into the barefoot habit cuz of my uncle....when i was a kid he wouldn't let us wear shoes in the game room so it b/c normal to me.

If I'm playing barefooted and you see my toes wiggling......you should quit lol....when my toes get happy the balls don't stop falling, just something I noticed I do along time ago.....

instead of the tapping fingers when using what i call a "show" bridge....i tap my toes.

I'm weird what can i say,
-Grey Ghost-

Because of abusing my feet for years my feet are disgusting. i can't walk around barefoot in front of people. i never really understood how people could either. years of living in nor cal had me equate walking around barefoot to burning my feet on the asphalt. the sun makes the ground toasty out here in the cali

Vans, John Cardiel model. Super comfortable, great traction and support. They also breath very well.

I can't believe all of these flatfooted guys like me haven't tried or found out how great Earth Shoes are for anything, work or pool. Go to planetshoes.com and order a pair of the Kalso negitive heel Earth shoes and put them on, case closed. They look great and feel better and till I found them my feet hurt like hell all the time, the slip on styles are the bomb.--Leonard

just dont play in sandals if you have lower back and "high foot pressure" lol. I missed work not long ago because of such.

I tried playing in flip-flops once. Reached cross table for a ball, slipped and sacked it right on the metal casting for the corner pocket (with my stick hitting a ball and fouling at the same time, effectively costing me the rack and $20). I was very close to buying a house stick and smashing it into pieces. Now, shoe traction is a must, and a big consideration for me. I only wear the Vans when I'm playing pool. Oddly enough, I skate but I don't wear this pair of Vans. I wear the old-school low tops.

I'm also kind of a woman when it comes to shoes. Between my skate shoes, golf shoes, running shoes, work shoes, and casual shoes, I own over 20 pairs.

I'm wearing a pair of Ryan Guettler's (BMX dude)that look identical to those. All I wear is SK8/BMX shoes. Vans, DC's, DVS's. If your flat footed, get some SK8 shoes. Ron

I usually wear New balance 993's if at all possible. They are like a gray suede and not exactly fashionable but they are so comfortable for a long session of beating balls.

Having been crushed by a 60 ton counter weight @ the steel mill & having all my shoes paid for(any priced shoes) for life,I cant live without my nike monarch's,full air from toe to heel, all leather in black or white & $40-50 a pair.Believe me when i say i've tried them all but for me this is what works.

Johnston Murphy's are the best I've found.
