Touchtunes jukeboxes complete with downloading features and "play-it now" options. I can annoy everyone with a pleasant mix of heavy metal and rap!!!

Won't comment on the heavy metal and rap --- don't want to give away the fact that I'm just an "Old Fuddy Duddy"

Would vote for Pool Forums and the ease of accessing info. A close second would be instructional CD"s and VCR tapes.

Has to be: Internet Forums

Without bashing heads here for the past few years on and off I wouldn't have been able to work through important aiming, adjustment, stroking, sighting concepts etc.

Without these ideas I'd be still wondering what's going on every 15 minutes or so and getting frustrated. Now I feel I almost always know the cause and the cure, making practice more and more a delight.

The internet, and more specifically internet forums have helped me a great deal by continually raising new ideas, and through discussion, being able to expand and clarify older ones.

All the gimmicks it the world can't compare to that. Gimme a 1920's cue and ivory balls and it won't make much difference at all.

Yes, everyone here and on the EPT have lead me in the right direction on many occasions.

Accessories, Book, DVD, VHS, Z-Shaft, or some thing you got to purchase. Pool School or Lesson do not count.:o

For a while, lower airfares.

There is no better way to improve than by playing the best!

Why a 60" Cue Chris?

10 years ago it was not very common to see quality cues made longer to begin with, most just had longer shafts. An over length shaft isn't the same as having a properly balanced 60" cue.

I happened to get my hands on a 60" custom cue a few years ago. It felt right in my hands right away. It was as if someone took a straight-jacket off me and freed up my stroke.

I can play with a shorter cue, but I don't feel with as smooth a stroke or with as much finesse as with my longer cue.

What about the design concept of the predator shaft? From that general design has come other shafts that people thanks, i.e. tiger X, OB-1, smart shaft, etc. All have that multi-splice design of some-sort.

Thats what my answer would be. My 314 has helped a lot.

It's already been mentioned once, but I'll second it: The WEI table...it has helped innumerable people to share shot situations, in "real time" diagrams, and get several different opinions (often all valid) on how to produce desired results. jmo

So tell us how Viagra helps with Pool...... Can not wait to hear your answer....

It was a bit speculative. Wonder if it's good for one's mental game?

I think Bunjee has totally changed the way the game is played. I have to admit it is really innovative to think of using a phenolic tip on a cue. Well, from this concept came the sledgehammer and then the Xtreme tip on the X Breaker, but I still think Bunjee deserves lots of credit.

I also think Instroke has made it very affordable for a regular player to own a quality cue case with great protection. The zipper compartment for a jump butt is a great idea, it shows that the inventor pays attention to the needs of the customers. It totally raised the par of production cases.

I am not sure if 314 is a great invention. In my opinion, I think this hype of "deflection" has been blown out of proportion. A lot of people now relate everything cue related to "deflection" and it is sad. A lot of people also think Predator is a very original and innovative company. Predator is not the first company who started building laminated shaft. Their marketing approach is very similiar to that of the old Meuicci in my opinion.

Richard

I remember "747's" well before there was any Bunjees.

I would have to say
Lessons with Dr. Cue and his diamond system tapes
The 314 Shaft
Watching a lot of the pro's play
Most of all i would have to say My Stroketrainer because without it i would have never got my stroke straight and to me that is one of the most important things in this game. (A straight stroke)

Now if i could just get my back fixed so i could play more. Hope to see all of you at the Expo. I will be in the Quick Clean booth L27 fell free to stop by and say hi.

The Internet itself for me. Even though it is older than 10 years...I've been here since the beginning. It's growth in the last ten years has made it THE SOURCE for acquiring and gaining access to billiard products and knowledge. Where was cue collecting, training information, and new billiard product advertising 10 years ago? No where near what it is today. That is my proof.

But if I had to pick a certain item...AZBilliards.com.
