What tip you do you play with?

I’ve tried so many different brands of tips and hardness that I don’t know for sure what the number really is.
But I know it’s more than a dozen but less than 2 dozen different tips. I finally settled on Kamui Black Clear
in a soft hardness. It doesn’t glaze like Kamui Black medium did which is why I switched. I tried Moori hoping
it would play like the original Moori tips on my Prewitt cue but it’s not the same tip quality and didn’t like it.
All my other cues have Kamui Black Clear tips in a soft hardness. Fortunately my best friend is an expert
cue repairman and he installs my tips at no charge. i only pay for the cost of the tip. I prefer KBC soft tips.

I also lime the Kamui clear. I have been using the super soft, but it has been mushrooming more than I like, so I am now putting on a soft instead when I need new tips.

Switched to CPBA/Moori Soft Mediums because I got given a handful of them. Took two or three long sessions to play it in, but very happy with how it plays.

Been out of the loop with tips except playing with Moori. I know he no longer makes his tips and haven't for some time now but this is what I play with. I may be due for a new tip.

What do you play with and how does it play? What are some of the best out there?
I like big tips and I cannot lie, wait wait , wrong song.

I install tips and have shot with many. My previous favorite was the Ultraskin Fire Medium for playing, not breaking.
I now shoot with the synthetic Bulletproof Recoil hard tip. It holds it's shape and draws easily. It has kind of a ting sound with my carbon fiber shaft which I have gotten used to.
It has a subjective feel of being very consistant. I really like this tip!

I went from a Kamui clear ss to soft. The ss mushrooms too much. Is it just me or does the Kamui seem to have more leather to it and last longer?
