it always suprises me that customers dont know what tip they r using.not the average player but people that play at a high level.i have several customers using szambotis and other high end cues and when they want a tip they say "i dont know, a medium" lol.

consensus says TRIANGLE.....best all around tip in the world for the money a box costs as much as some single layer tips.

even better is if you press them b/f installation

My standard tip is a Wizard Medium. That's the most popular tip with my customers now. I also install a lot of Moori softs.

People are asking me to put on alot of sniper tips in my local poolhall/bars. I also shoot with a sniper but want to try a moori med next. I also put triangle tips on the cues i make.

everest. i think most (not all) will go with what your like. doesnt matter. they ask and i say everest is the best. so they use everest

I supply Talisman Med with my cues. I also sell a lot of Mooris.

Of the single layered tips I install probably the W/B is the most popular followed by LePro and then Triangle. If asked I always recommend a layered tip. Talisman was my favorite for some time and I would install about 200-250 a year. These are what i installed on my cues also. I finally got tired of their delamination problems and started using Everest a year or so ago. I've had no complaints about them and one very good player who has been using Moori med. for years commented about their great hit and was no longer going to use Mooris any longer. Snipers were popular for some time but that has since fallen off. Moori consumption is way, way down since the advent of so many newer laminated tips. Most of my customers at present who want a laminated tip seem to go for either the Everest or Kamui tips. If someone desires a cheap layered they get a Wizard med. What frustrates me with Kamui's are that there are so many different types. People ask what I recommend and I tell them I have no clue as there is to many layered tips to try them all. I, myself like a hard tip but many others prefer medium so how can my recommendations be of any benefit to them?

Kamui's are standard on our cues. Most are pleased with them, and only a few change. Second choice is Sniper at the moment, followed by our former standard offering, Triangle.

Kamui medium and Kamui medium. And yes, there are several choices but somehow we muddle through it. High humidity is not an issue here so we are down to 4 choices and since Kamui's are harder than most others for their ratings seldom are the hard ordered except for a jump cue.

I put Sumo WB tips, on my cues. I personally am using Elkmaster, on my playing cue. Le Pro is my standard, for people who don't know what they want...JER

Triangles, followed by Moori, LePro, Kamui, Everest, and Sniper. Pretty much in that order.

Kamui's sale good here. I use Moori tips on my cues! They also sell really good here!

Talisman on my cues, Moori, Le Pro, Triangle, Everest.

I like the old school non-layered tips. The layered tips awalys seem to get hard on my for some reason, They change as the tip ages.

best

I use a Moori soft and sell a lot of LePro , and a whole lot of Moori soft and medium along with Triangle. I do agree though. Whatever I say is best or I have on my cue is what most players want on theirs.

seems to me that locality and humidity tends to be a factor in how a cue plays according to everyones post,,,interesting
