What you think about A.E. Schmidt, nice looking have not played on one though?

i have played on their tables at halls...they are one of the best..highly recommended...i believe they are one of the oldest companies having started i believe approx.in the 1850's !!!!!!!!!!!!!! if i remember right they had a major fire ... in their warehouse about 2 years ago....if you can one of their tables you will like it...good luck ...keep us posted if u get one....bassmaster911 said:What you think about A.E. The tables are AE Schmidt, and the one we got played like crap. On one of the corner pockets, if you shot a ball harder than pocket speed and it hit the facing, it would fly off the table.
u are correct Wally about the fire..it was Robertons(spelling)..i have played on both tables they are both great tables in my opinion...that fire destroyed their o one of a kind molds ect....do u know if they ever came back from the fire ????Wally in Cincy said:You may be thinking of Robertson's in Tampa. i played on one in a hall near Chicago and really liked it..i hope they are doing well after their fire...Wally in Cincy said:I would assume they did. They only lost half their warehouse IIRC and they had vowed to continue in business.
Snookers in Cincy has 9-foot Robertsons and they play pretty much like Gold Crowns (IMO)
