What's going on at the Sands Regency in Reno?

Since I'm hard at work hardly working, I was just curious if anyone has any news about what's going on up there in the Sands Regency 9-Ball Open. Any big names? Any big action?
 
Not much yet. I'm
sitting here watching a couple matches in progress. Deuel just won. Parica is about to play. No "big" matches yet.

John, yeah, there have been multiple Bobaloo sightings. it's awefully intimidating, to say the least. ;) I think the slot machines snapped him off. I saw him and Hemmah feeding the machines at like 2:30 AM last night.

LOL :D He's just an accident waiting to happen. Tell him to call me tonight after 7 on my cell, he's got the number, I think. If not, give it to him. Have you played a match yet? I think this one is all yours for the taking, if you keep your head in check. Screw the bad rolls, just overcome them. There's no reason for anyone there to beat you when you hit em like you're capable of doing. Control whitey on the break, and duck when you have to. Peace.

I take it the best motivation for snapping off a tournament is after the casino has snapped you off first... ;)

He might be related to Ricky. He's a local at Hard Times that John and I have known for 16 or 17 years now. Maybe longer for John. Damn, I'm getting older (but not as old as Rude Dog!).
 
Speaking of Bobaloo, I'm sweating his match against Hsin Huang right now. He was up 4-2, but she just fired in a long rail bank on the 4 and ran out. 4-3.

I was just sitting here with them right now. Ernesto just won. Oscar lost to Glenn Atwell earlier today. I'll tell them you said hi.

p.s. Bobaloo lost to Hsin.

How about that King Kong? There's a blast from the past. I've been told he's a force to be reckoned with on a field of green. Lots of solid players at Reno. Hope to read some more updates for the inquiring minds back home!
