The BEST deal?

Easily it's buying a used cue that's not a collectors cue.
Most players won't know the difference between one cue maker and another when they play.
If you are an expert player then it means a difference.

But, the best money will be spent on a cue that YOU learn to play. A cue won't make you a better player.
 
Easily by far the best deal in pool is (as was mentioned) FREE
livestreaming!!!!!!!

Can't beat it, and it even comes from time to time with the BEST
commentators in the game.... in the WORLD!!!!

But I hear they tend to sort of warp get out of shape. I've played on em... And let's be honest...no one really likes balls sitting on a piece of plastic.... let's just cover the whole table with "magic rack" type stuff?? as thin as it my be? I prefer felt to be under my balls...at all times.

There are ultra thin condoms....still don't like 'em...rather go "freeballing".....

Talk about lessons, live streaming etc....I'm asking about a "consumable"...knowledge isn't consumable until one get's dementia???

Your opinion is likely in the minority. You can't say something like "lets just cover the whole table" as the magic rack is only on the table for a few seconds and doesn't interfere with the actual game play.

Ya think so...do they ship to the Philippines?.... I have a nice cue made in the PI by Tacio Bautista....the problem is...I bought it through a dealer...the butt plate is a unique custom fit??? The outer edge of the butt plate extends ....so you can't just find a new bumper... What happened to the original? It's like a present...just exploring, want to see what's inside...weight bolt. The dealer didn't tell me the butt plug hole was threaded? There is no way to contact him? At this point...it's probably makes more sense to buy a new cue....service after the sale???
 
Used predator shaft. get it at half the cost of retail. depending on joint size it will fit multiple butts (production and custom). just my opinion but I think time will show LD shafts to be superior, in the science and the tourneys.
 
99 Critical Shots is like $10.00 and can get amateurs to "C-player" at least if they're paying attention. Nothing else packs more practical info into a few pages.

Magic Ball Rack is my next vote, and for the money you get 2-3 racks too.

For someone dedicated to getting better, it's hard to beat those deals like "$10 12-7" or "buy food and get free pool all wednesday" etc... there's usually a few specials like this at one of the hard times locations.
 
*For cues:
-I think cheaper Poison(Cheaper Arsenic or Bolt) is good. I have AR5 and I am very very satisfied with it. Dropping down a few decorations makes it a great, cheap deal.
-Lucasi. A lot of cheaper Lucasi Hybrid cues. I haven't tried one, though I keep hearing positive stuff about them. I am even considering getting a used one if the price is good and after I try it.
-Viking. Never tried one, but when I wanted to get a new cue, one of my first considerations was Viking. Heard a lot of positive stuff about them. Only a few bad comments, but great prices!
-McDermott. Lots of positive comments. Never tried one though. But good prices I think.
-Pechauer. 100% of the comments I've heard about Pechauer are very positive. Great prices and very nice looking.
-Predator Roadline Sneaky Pete. Cheapest Predator. Excellent though. I've tried the red one with linen wrap.
-My first Fury cue, I don't know the model. I got it for only about 80$ with a free case plus shipping/tax. Of course, this cue has great sendimental value for me as it is my first, but for so cheap, it has really served me well. Changing the tip to Kamui Medium made it awesome(The tip that came with it was not good though).

*For tips:
-I like Kamui best. Moori is good too. But I've seen a lot of other layered tips for much cheaper. Never tried them, but fairly cheap compared to the top competition. Example Black Heart.

*For chalk:
-Masters - cheap and awesome
-Blue Diamond - different than Masters, more expensive, but nice I think
-Triangle - also cheap, but I like Masters better
-Predator - cheapest high performance chalk I've tried. I currently use this. A lot like Masters.
-Kamui Chalk - awesome, but pretty expensive.

Joe Porper Cases.
Schmelke Cues.
Elkmaster Tips (If you DIY some duds).
Triangle Tips.
 
Schmelke M-Series M010 Shedua - A no frills, fantastic playing cue for $75. For $15 more, you can get rosewood or bocote.

I agree...Tweeten has a long...respected reputation of providing quality stuff to the masses..

No one likes a new comer...charging 30 bucks a chunk...claiming it's better??? Prove it...
