My vote goes to Steve Lomax (note I know the Mezz, no doubt one of the better jump cues out there, but I'm not sure I know the latest generation Pechauer). The real question is how one defines "easy to jump". People who simply couldn't do it loved e.g. Predator's Air Jump cue when it first hit the market, because they could finally make get the cue ball airborne. In competition, however, provided one knows how to jump a ball, what it all boils down to is make-percentage, getting the elevation perfect given distance, angle, obstruction, as well as play position - in other words, a repeatable result. A Lomax does that better than any jump cue I've tried. And I don't mean to say it's in any way more "difficult" to get the cue ball airborne, on the contrary, I'm a short guy with a strained finger joint in my bridge hand pinky that's not going to heal, and ever since I use a Lomax, I neither have to toe nor elevate my bridge hand to where my finger joint gives way. Couldn't wish for a better jump cue.
Greetings from Switzerland, David.
