whats the hardest cue youve hit with

One of my Schon's

I would have to say one of my Runde era Schon cues hits the hardest. It has a stainless, 5/16x14, piloted joint, old yellow micarta ferrules, cut back to expose the tenons. Sorry, I am not planning on selling any of my Runde era Schon cues at this time.

Complete POS aluminum house cue from the mid 80s. Hit the cueball like an aluminum bat does a baseball...... terrible feel and vibration.

My Varney break cue...when I accidentally shoot a ball with it being in a hurry & grabbing the wrong cue.

it was a cue i built using an unlimited class fiberglass fishing rod blank,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,weighed a bunch and never could keep a tip on it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,one piece with wrap tip and ferrule

I hit my older brother square on his head with a house cue when I was 10 or 11. When it did'nt slow him down that much I was wishing for a cue that "hit harder". I did learn a good lesson out of it though, never swing a cue without an escape route.;)

for me it was a helmstetter ccs with a wood pin.. what did you think was the hardest youve hit with?

The hardest hiting cue I have ever hit with was Schuler, and they appear to hit the same.

I think that it the joint design, but I am uncertain for sure.

When you say hard, then a cue with an ash shaft.

Amen to THAT! I had a break cue once that had an ash shaft that hit like a slab of stone and would MAIM the cue ball into the rack.....
