My jump shot last night knocked three balls off the table, including the cb.

I jumped over the two blocking balls OK. They were about 2 diamonds away. I hit the intended OB-but everything went to hell.

The whole thing was a bad idea. It takes way too hard a stroke to get that much air-a poor decision. I warn players downstream when I'm about to launch one of these-just to be neighborly.

Anybody done 4 or more?

I can jump the entire length of a 9-footer by standing on the table and punting the cue ball with my foot. I've designed some cue ball punting shoes and after they're in production and I've started contributing to the organizations that govern equipment rules it should soon be legal in tournaments. Your cue ball control problems will then be solved.

I'm also in the process of developing instructor certification standards for this major advance in pool skills if you're interested.

Lost-for sure, dude. Thanks for the 'signpost' of the 90's-things do look a little familiar.

For the record, (re the 'record ball clearing jump shot' attempt), my first option was to start a 3railkick by jumping over a different set of blockers, but this looked 'fraught with peril' since it's hard to keep the digging running english on the ball off the second and third rail-so I opted for the straight forward NASA launch mode. The launch was successful, but there were some downrange collision anomalies that resulted in mission failure. The good news: more data collected for the 'Jump shots that don't go-but shoot em anyway' chapter of the 'why the fk did you shoot that'? vhs in production(possible 2 volume set)

Where can I get a pair of the 'jump boots'? Sounds like something I could use-two or three failure options is always good. {Risky-have you sent Money to CW to shepard this rule change thru the industry?-something to consider}

So-What's the record?

That's the record in my book. I've seen a couple of balls go flying, but never three (except in bar fights). :)
