Found this Helmstetter locally. Seller was asking $550. Out of the question imo. Wondering what y'all think would be a fair offer?

Purdman said:They probably want this in the wanted/forsale section, but I think origional signed Helmstetters are collectable. I would ask jayman and Tate. There are some very knowledgable people on this forum.

(I DID search, and didn't find this exact cue)
Dunno why it'd be in the for sale or wanted since it's neither for sale (here) nor wanted (here)
If a mod wants to move this, fair enough.

manwon said:The cue is a Common RCH VIP Series Cue which was made in the early to Mid-1990's. The RCH models were not offered after 1996. These cues retailed new around $500 to $600, the cue pictured was one of the lower end models. The cues value is up to the buyer, but depending upon condition half the original retail is close to its value. Unfortunately Helmstetter cues / Adam cues due not hold the value they should because they were made in Japan. I do not agree with this, at all and I think they are very collectible, but many do not hold their value.
Hope this helps!!!!!!!!
