What's this Lucasi worth?

I have a chance to buy this 10 year old Lucasi cue. The seller wants $115 and it comes with a cheap case. I haven't sent it in person yet but supposedly rolls straight.

I have another question too. I'm not a big fan of a SS joint..... Just my opinion but I think they look tacky compared to other joints such as a black or white phenolic joint for example. What are the pros(if any) & cons of a SS joint?

Lucasi

I've had a few Lucasis, and I think they are one of the best hitting production cues out there. If that cue does roll straight, snatch it up!

lucasi cues are underrated. they play good and are damn hard to beat for the price. imo their designes could be better though. i'm a sucker for plane jane cues and they don't have many

to the op;

seeking opinions for cue values is better suited for the main forum so you won't interfere with the business going on here on wanted / for sale.

many well informed folks hang around over there, as well.

good luck with the lucasi decision.

best,

Dollar for Dollar, Lucasi Cues are one of the best production cues on the market. Great playing cues!! $115 for a player, with a case? If you don't want it, let me know!!

I feel that the SS joint dampens the feel of the hit.

That is not what everybody thinks.

I have a Lucasi LD1 ... it plays good but I don't get the hit I want from it. It feels soft even with a med hard tip.
