What's wrong with Europe?

Ha. Sorry, I couldn't help it. I seem to remember some people that couldn't post this exact phrase about the U.S. enough a little while back(and I don't even mean you Roy :)), so I figured what the heck. Has to be fair game, right? USA! In all seriousness, I am proud to have the cup back in the states. Great job, guys.

having seen most of the matches right until day 4, missed the singles today. But the team europe is full of talent, and playing on a team just puts a little more on your shoulders, all of them struggled when the pressure was on.

And with that lead into day 4, to much of a task to win from behind.
Congrats to team USA, on a job well done.

i think the outcome was more about what's right with our boys vs what was wrong with the EURO'S

HATCH brought much more than his pool playing talent

Sorry guys, this post was purely a jest in response to all of the pro-Euro posts asking what was wrong with the US. I know that Europe is still fine and has plenty of talent just as much as I knew the US did even before kicking ass in the Cup.

The major problem with Europe is that we who live in Europe now are the descendants of those who were to lazy and too stupid to get on the boats to America in 1800's.

The positive, smart, strong people with resources, dreams and ideas travelled over the pond, while our negative grand-grand fathers and mothers with no hope continued to be one of many sheep back here.

That's where it all started...

needs to be more pro-America the next month to prevent getting killed

If I am not mistaken just a few months you said only disreputable people crooks, thieves etc crossed the dam but I must give you credit because a few months ago you were also on ustream racking balls and ducking "Line drives" and now you are slated to be an official in that Nigerian tournament.

The big thing I noticed is how weak the Euros were in the doubles, which is usually their strong suit. Just didn't seem to be any chemistry in the pairings for Europe.

Roy, you can stay as you are and no one here will kill you. (And I'm sure that it "killed you" a little bit to write this, even in jest.)

Good to see that you haven't lost your sense of humor...

I gotta say tha I really loved the US Mosconi Cup team this year... Dennis Hatch has made the difference to last years team...
I DO agree on the statement about our teams being terrible this year in the doubles... too much of "do as you think" between Ralf and Thorsten and overall to little emotions this year... IMHO we should have brought someone back like Tony Drago... He is not the best ever Euro poolplayer, but he brought the same kind of fun into the team that Dennis created for your boys... Hell it was one of the coolest things ever to see the big man crying in joy just for beig part of the event
I like to state one last thing..
Thanks for the great games, great atmosphere, great sportsmanship and a sound beating in terms of team play!
Hopefully we get a ood revenge next year!
