What's your definition of a ticky?

I use Gradys definition. Its quick and simple. Might not be verbatim, but its close enough.

A ticky is where you hit rail first, contact a ball, and the cb goes on to accomplish something else.

This is called a Ticky me Elmo

BTW, I believes #1 only and from 3C Billiards

That's the guy! Don't tell him where I live, I think I still owe him a 100.
He kept talking in the 3rd person also, "Elmo's gonna shove that 9 ball right up your ass on this here rack" and "You had enough of Elmo's running out on your ass?" "Elmo will give all you boys and girls the 7".

lol. There is a very good amateur who plays somewhere in the Detroit area named Elmo. Elmo Ruiz I think.

If you watch any of the old One Pocket matches where Grady is commentating, he always called the Ticky a cue ball into the rail and then into a object ball and back to the same rail, just as you described and so does Danny D.

This is correct.

The other comments didn't mention going back to the same rail.
