What's your high run of 9-on-the-break?

I've done it 3 in a row on a not super consistent 7' (TDF .82), and 2 in a row probably 10-15 times.

I know it's not something that most people will keep track of, but if you do it 3 in a row on honest racking, you sure take notice!

2 lots of times, 3 maybe a few times I can remember. I remember one time with the 3 though where the guy was still holding the rack after me making it in the break twice. He threw the rack at me when it went the third time and came after me. He was really angry anyway and the three 9's on the break was the last straw. Fortunately there was a spectator called Sugar Shack Johnny standing between him and me. End of story.

If you're talking BNR's

Most I've had was a six pack on a nine footer. At this year's USBTC while practicing nineball on the diamond barboxes I had a four pack and a three pack with three dry breaks in between, so I beat the nineball BNR ghost 7-3.

Jaden

oh you're talking about making nines on the break, most I had was three at a tourney at Danny K's in orange Ca, in the mid nineties. The balls just lined up right and it kept going straight into the corner, opponent rack...

Three was a charm.......

I broke in three in a row in a tournament and beat a real good player from Scranton PA.

Yes...I was real lucky and he told me so......

I did 3 in a row on a bar box while in a ring game one time. Then on the forth rack the racker twisted the rack on me but I still almost made it again lol.

I was playing a friend of mine some races to 5 for twenty. He lost the flip and never shot in one of the sets. I made the 9 in the same pocket 4 times straight. he was leaving a gap where the 9 shot right in. We both inspected the 5th rack and sure enough there was a gap. He left it there just to see if I could do it again...nope ,but I did make a ball an get out. It was a bar box.

I have done it 5 times in a row once on a 7 footer back when I first started playing 9 ball. It's still my highest package lol

Around 1975 I saw Mike Gulyassy make the 9 ball 4 in a row for 50.00 a rack, on a regulation table. That was a lot of money back then.

Back in the mid 80's, on a road trip with a former pro, my friend got in a 5 man ring game on the 9'er. We were up a ways when one of the guys finally won his first game. He proceeded to snap in the 9 on the break 5 times. My friend and on other argued about the rack, but the others said there was no problem with the rack and let the same guy keep racking them. He snapped it in another 8 times for a total of 13 in a row. When my friend got back to even, he quit the game. He was a little concerned about quitting ahead in that particular game.

ok, one or all of yáll must be named RAY! (except for Jaden cause i've laid eyes on him)

a few months ago, KK9 had to play his LO, cause he wanted to clock him & up his ranking. 9 ball.

RAY sank the damn thing 3 times in a row, into the SAME pocket....

I don't think I've ever had more than 1 ace consecutively. I've had 2 non-consecutively in the same set before, but that's about as far as my luck goes.

Conversely, I've had 3 snapped in in a row against me.

It was alternate break, both of us racing to 5 on a GCIII. Actually, he snapped his 1st 2 breaks, lower left corner. His 3rd break the 9 sat dead in that jaw, with the 1 ball 6 inches away, and the CB dead in line with the one. My blind paraplegic Grandma coulda made it, and he did. Somehow, I eeked out the W. :)

I've snapped the 9 three times in a row twice on 9'ers. 13 in a row Neil is freaking insane!

Its funny u posted this cuz I just ran my high last night it was a 4 pack and I tell u what it feels pretty great I was playing one of the best local apa guys too I still have a smile on my face today opps I meant break and runs :D

I have made 4 9s on the snap 5 differant times.
All were on 8 ftrs while gambling. Races to 5 for 20.
Done against 3 differant players on 3 differant tables.
All within a 6 week period.2 of the sets I finished with
1/9 combos.

I only won on 2 of the occassions.
4 on the snap followed by a tough table run and my
opponent wants to dbl the bet.He ran out from everywhere!
Had fun ,didn't lose much.

I know it is insane, If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I would surely doubt it happening. The rack was half a ball high, and you have to consistently rack them the same way every time with the same amount of gap. Then, the breaker also has to consistently hit the rack the same way and same speed every time. A lot has to "come together" for it to happen that many times in a row.

And of course, I'm sitting there paying out a hundred a pop. Each rack thinking "that had to be the last one". My friend was stealing in that game, and we drove a couple hundred miles to get into it, then that happens.

I believe one time I did 3 9 ball snaps in a row...a couple of times I had 2 in a row. As for packs I did a 4 pack once on a bar box, couple 3 packs...several 2 packs...but I am an 8 ball players so I am not surprised the #s are not better.

4 in a row and the funny thing, I had no idea what I was doing.
It was at the AF NCO club at Griffiss AFB in NY in the mid 90's. I just started playing seriously with a friend who was teaching me and we were playing partners against a couple of other guys.
My friend was pissing himself laughing after each 9 went down while the guys were lining us up with drinks.

Since then...probably one in a row
