Anyone not using this knowledge is leaving games and money on the table...

For those of you who do not know, Little Joe Villalpando may be pool instruction's greatest resource. He has developed the most comprehensive and accurate kicking system I have ever seen. 1, 2, and 3, rail shots are easily caluculated, and HIT. How would you like to feel that you are never "safe" I now feel that way!

His clock system for caluclating shots and cueball control is unparralled. If you want to stop playing "area" position, and would like to start playing precision position, get the dvds.

I had the pleasure of taking private lessons with Joe a week ago, and I am still amazed at what I learned. I wake up each morrning thinking about shots, situations, and extending lines for kick shots.

Joe is a great guy, and he has tons of knowledge. His teaching technique is amazing. He knows how to balance critical concepts with pool situations. Joe is not teaching drills!

Get the dvd's, take a lesson, everyone should get what Joe has to offer, it will change your game forever!

Those of you who know Joe post away...those who do not; post here and we can get you acquainted...THIS IS THE NUTS...

You can find Joe at pooliq.net

It always makes me feel good when Lil Joe gets his "Props", because no one in the business of teaching on a pool table has more knowledge or how to impart that knowledge to others better than Joe Villalpando. A nicer person you will never find either.

Anyone looking to improve their game, whether you are a beginner or an A player looking to take your game to that next step you can not go wrong contacting Joe for lessons or if the geographics for lessons is a problem his DVDs are a must have.

Is this Brett? If so, Little Joe told me he was really impressed by you. You soaked up his information like a sponge and seemed to put it into effect immediately.

You were a good student and from the sounds of it, you weren't a beginner...yet you were able to learn is significant amount. That's the way it is with Joe, as you achieve greater & greater levels, he can keep layering on the knowledge to continually hone your skills.

Strange how you never hear anyone say anything negative about Joe's DVDs or personal instruction, huh? Everyone walks away from the lessons with a whole new perspective about how to play the game.

the only folks negative haven't talked to Joe or tried his stuff

Joe seems unique in his knowledge, willingness, and ability to communicate it. Joe has accurately defined what most people learn by feel after many thousands of shots. Then he conveys this information in simple and easy to understand language.

There are a few others out there that know as much as Joe. Most of them develop a severe case of lockjaw if you try to get any meaningful information out of them. Those that will talk often can't explain clearly what they are doing and why.

Joe's newest DVD is due out in September. I suspect that everyone that has bought an earlier DVD will be buying this one too. I know I will before I know anything about what is on it. I'm confident if it comes from Joe it will be good for my game. Reminds me, I need to talk to him. Maybe tomorrow after I get home from the pool hall or next week.

A fine spot to thank Joe for the time he puts in on the phone too. Joe is easy to listen to and understand on the phone or on the DVD's. As usual I'll close by complaining about the miles between me and Joe. I still haven't made it up there!

Hey Mosconiac it is Brett. I was blown away by Joe. We had such a great time working together, Joe and I. As has been mentioned in this thread, Joe can improve anyone at any level. While I did bring some pool knowledge to the lesson, every element of Joe's teaching was immediately impactful and beneficial. Another of Joe's great skills is recognizing what he is working with. He saw my ability and went right to more advanced info. He did give me a few suggestions on some basics he thought could help me, but it was right to the "good stuff." He really is a fantastic teacher.
I do not think anyone will ever have anything negative to say about Joe or his methods. He is what a teacher should be. He has knowlege, and want to impart it to others. He gains fulfillment through his students, THAT IS TEACHING! It was funny, how he mentioned a few times how my eyes would light up with certain shots or positional moves. I did not tell him, and I probably should have, that I could see his eyes lighting up when I was able to execute a shot, or have the "ah-ha" sensation of "getting it."

I can not wait to get back to see Joe, I am already itching...

Here again I must chime in about having Lil' Joe in my room daily and watching him taking the time to talk to beginning and experinced players that are right here on a daily basis. Joe's ability to talk to all level's of players is amazing.
Hope to see more of his lessons ,
Terry

Brett, I don't know you but can say that I am extremely jealous of your trip to Joe's place. I have been talking with Joe over the phone for several years, since his first video and can say he is one of the nicest men that I have ever talked to.

I have not yet had the chance to meet up for my one on one lesson but can say that his videos are full of great information. Today he and I spoke on the phone and he said what a wonderful time you two had playing pool. Hopefully, I will too make it over to see him in the not too distant future. Joe is a treat to talk, I can't wait to meet him..

Looking forward to the next video.

Joe

I'll add my two cents in support of Joe's DVDs. I just had the opportunity to see them and they are well put together and contain solid information. I've liked his version of the Plus Two system, it auto-corrects for certain angles that the normal version requires an adjustment for.

I'll be looking for his new DVD in the fall.

 Little Joe is one of pool's premier teachers and those of you are lucky enough to spend some time at Joe's "classes" will no doubt learn some things you could never learn on your own. I have both of Joe's videos and can't wait for his next one. :)

Hello MOJOE,

I hope you get a chance to see Joe ASAP. You will never look at pool the same way. The videos are great, but his live lessons take the video stuff to all new heights. His feedback on your execution is awesome. He can instantly tell you what you have done incorreclty, and also what you have done well. The "cueball tells us where you hit it." You will hear that over and over; Joe is a master.

As you said Joe is a great guy, he is equally funny as talented. He will make you laugh. He has great road stories as well. I can not wait to get back to see him. I would love to spend a few months uninterrupted with Joe and see where I was then. I do not think there would be to many people I would not want to play.

I do not know what has kept you from meeting with Joe in person, but whatever it is, fix it! If you love the game, there would be no better time spent! I hope you can make it happen.

good luck MOJOE

I was introduced to Little Joe about 2 years ago just before his first DVD came out while he was showing a group of guys the finished piece. Maybe 3 years ago? After the video was over he took me back to a table and just started showing me all this stuff I didn't realize. The big difference in his teaching is he gives you a foundation that will enable you to learn "Exactly" how and or where to hit the Cue Ball. I've incoporated his Clock system with another I learned many years ago and now clock at least 35% to 40% of my shots playing 3C. His system allows me to thread a needle with the CB. Simply amazing and once learned very simple.

Anytime you're within striking distance to the Quad Cities/Miller Time take the time to look him up. The only thing you'll be sorry for is that you didn't do it sooner.

I'm planning on ordering Joe's DVDs soon. I would love to take a lesson or two but unfortunately the travel is deadly. I already have made it a priority to see Stan Shuffett asap. Does anyone know what Joe maybe covering in his knew DVD?

Little joe

I had a chance to meet Joe a couple of years ago while home on leave i stopped in the qaud Cities to shoot a few games at Miller Time and was talking to Terry, he introduced me to Joe and I immediately took a liking to him, my wife really like him too, we talked for a couple of hours and i bought his first DVD and am especially glad I did.
