I keep hearing Rumor of Gas Shortages, and Price Gouging, and would like some information from Folk around the U.S. who have No Lies to Tell.

My Report is as Follows;

1. Gas Prices appear to have Stabilized on the west Side of Phoenix AZ. Regular $3.199/Gal Super Go go Juice $3.399/Gal Stable since Friday

2. I have Seen No lines

3. I have seen Closed Gas Stations, or Stations out of GAS as of this a.m.

Would like to know what is the Gas Situation in:

Kingman Az

Las Vegas Nevada

Salt Lake City Utah

Idaho Falls idaho

West Yellowstone Montana

Bozeman Montana

Butte Montana

Missoula Montana

As I got to do a Business Trip in the Next week or so....

$3.29 for regular in southern Tennessee. I've seen no lines. I've heard of a $20.00 limit in some places, but haven't seen it.

.

I have seen 3.09 to 3.29 for premium. Still can get regular at around 2.89 depending where you are in the city. (San Diego) I would put "Southern California" but Los Angeles is always very different.

There's been plenty of crap going on in the Atlanta area. On Thurs. there was one gas station on the north side of town gouging for $7 a gallon.

Now, the governor of GA has rescinded ALL state gas tax per gallon until the end of Sept. to ease the price pain, $.15/gallon, and the crummy gas stations haven't passed it on down to the consumer. They're keeping it at the same price and pocketing the money!

Here in D.C. at the start of the Labor Day weekend, folks were lining up at the gas stations trying to fill their tanks. This did cause long lines at the gas stations throughout the area, but the gas was available. That was the beginning of the Labor Day weekend.

Several days ago, I noticed my local BP gas station in Chevy Chase, MD went from 2.79 for medium-grade to $3.50. I filled my tank up at that time.

Today, I went by the same BP gas station, and the cost for medium-grade is now $3.79 per gallon and $3.90 for high-test.

Two of the gas station attendants were out front holding a very large pole in the ground, measuring how much gas was left at the station. Currently, there are red bags over the handles of the low-grade gas. They have run out.

That's the gas scene in my neck of the woods! :p

2.99 to 3.50 a gallon depending on which side of town you live here in Little Rock.

one station will be at 2.99 and across the street it'll be 3.25
it's crazy.

haven't seen statons closing or running out.

Yeah... today in the northern Atlanta area, gas is back down to 2.75-3.25 a gallon, and each pump has atleast one car.

$2.89 for regular here. President Bush needs to put a price cap or do something at least.

Jim

In Minnesota mid-last week, all stations seemed to jump to $2.99, then some to $3.25-3.45. Yesterday, I noted a lot of stations down to $2.79.

The other story will be the prices of natural gas for heating, etc. You haven't seen those bills yet, but that will be the other shoe to drop.
Looking for leagues to start again in two weeks,,,

In North Jersey there are no lines or limits it's just business as usual albeit at a higher price. Premium runs from 3.47 to 3.99 depending on where you buy it.
I don't remember what regular or midrange octanes go for because my car requires premium. :(

I'm thinking of buying a new Scion Xa. Inexpensive, great on gas, easy to park, and reliable. My idea of a perfect urban commuter car.

The parking situation around my way is horrendous. I also have to contend with "alternate side of the street" rules. I would love to find a parking space to rent but there aren't any to be had.

In the town in indiana I live in it went from 2.48 to 2.79 to 3.19 in 24 hours. It was up to 3.39 and now its back down to 2.99

http://gasbuddy.com/ should be able to list the prices where your going

Frederick, Maryland (40 miles NW of DC...)

Yesterday, Reg $3.69/gal

Today, Reg $3.29/gal

Not bad in paradise

This morning on the way to work I too saw gas <Regular> from $2.89 to $3.10 with no lines to speak of and most gas stations are back up and running in Miami. Now in the Keys...from Marathon south to Key West according to my cousin there IS no gas to be found, not at the pump or the marinas...

Well hopefully the reports will continue to be posted. ;)

On Friday on my way to work one of the stations had low grade listed at $3.19. That was about 9 am. AT lunch time when I passed it was $3.29. At 4:30 (closing time) I drove past and it was $3.39. I had to do some shopping and when I was going home from the store (about an hour later) I passed the same chain, diffrent station and it was $3.57....this is all for low grade. $3.57 seemed to be the price for Friday night....I saw one station for $3.09 Fri night and there was a line, though not that long. There were reports that stations were gonna close on Friday, though I saw none. I believe a few in VA did...which is 15 mins down the interstate. On Sat. the price had dropped to $3.47 and that is what it remained yesturday....I think some stations may have it cheaper. Haven't been out yet today.

Gas around the Philly area is going for $3.19 (Reg) to $3.75 (Prem). No lines.

But of course I just got that idiot email from someone about the gas stations shutting down on Sept 11 for a couple days. Stupid people.

Up here gas is anywhere between $1.09 and $1.17 per LITRE. That's about $4.40 a gallon, the crazy part is that here in Alberta were sitting on tons and tons of oil and gas reserves, yet we have to pay higher prices...go figure  Oh well, as a student planning on getting into the oil and gas industry these prices aren't entirely bad. As long as my salary is high enough to pay for them LOL!

The recovery is ON.

With most of the power back on in Jackson, Miss., my wife just filled up at our usual station with no lines. Premium 93oct. was $2.69.9. I believe the prices will be coming down everywhere in the near future. Best of luck to all of you guys.

On the way home today, I noticed Gas Prices Dropped $.10/Gal. WAHOOOO
