Hi Pink, I feel like KK9 and Jam probably do. It has become less and less pleasant here in the last couple years. It seems no matter what you say someone wants to stir up the pot just for their own amusement. The gals that used to post were always in the minority and have mostly all left. Too bad really, but AZ Forums seem to be direct reflection of pool in America. It is what it is...
I wish the ladies would all take a lesson in posting from Sunnyone.
She makes excellent posts....once in a while, gently chides us....

The truth is that the forums are not for everyone. No one promised anyone a rose garden -- it's never going to be all sunshine and flowers -- and some people just don't know how to handle it.
The only problem is that instead of dealing with it, there are some that have to endlessly kvetch about it to one and all.
Get over it.
The board has a variety of options to help out anyone who feels unfairly targeted, from the Ignore function to reporting posts or contacting the mods. It's a rowdy place, with an extra heaping of testosterone, and anyone expecting high tea shouldn't walk in the front door in the first place and migrate to FB or wherever else they can find solace, peace and harmony.
As someone who has had his fair share of screaming monkeys pop up from time to time, I know what I'm talking about. To deal with the trolls, stalkers, or multiple identities (real or perceived), play with them until they get boring, Ignore them, or just wait until they get far enough out of line to garner official attention.
This place is like an online pool room with smart people, stupid people; folks who know how to behave and others who can't; people with money and some without; guys who can play and others who cannot; and a huge number and variety with other characteristics.
If you can't deal with it: GO. Leave. But for God's sake, stop bee-atching and whining about it.

I have maintained many times before, at the end of the day, there would only be a couple of members that are harder to abide by. I am sure the feeling is mutual at times. Can't be in love with everyone. And the best part is, the next morning is a brand new day.
AZB or any other message board would get pretty boring if everyone marched in Lock Step with each other. Sure, there are some pretty big disagreements and a little Drama, well, not as much as there used to be. People make up and others get Banned.
Maybe that is why certain people eventually gravitate to their own little Worlds that is known as Face Book. Where they can control their own environment and a difference of opinion can be rectified with a click of the mouse button to delete a Friend out of their World. That's pretty boring.
A person can't be a Control Freak and get their own way all the time on AZB. And then start reporting members because they had a differing opinion and said something that was deemed to be bad.

It occurred to me, just awhile ago, that one of the ladies I really miss, and I know you do to, was Two-Tooth Sally. You all remember Sally. She ran a hot pillow joint down in Galveston, for many years and kept an old 5x10 Gandy in the back room for customers to play on while waiting in line. Many a paycheck was lost in that place, I can tell you.
Anyway, for you newer members, out there, Sally died a couple of three years ago from a very rare condition known as CED, or, Chronic Explosive Diarrhea. One night she was giving a furniture salesman from Topeka a lap dance when she unexpectedly shit all over him. The guy was so incensed that he pulled out a gun and shot her. Very sad.
It just goes to show you. The good die young, and toothless, don't they. :smile:

Pictures or it didn't happen Tramp. I miss Trig also. Ya know Trampster, some posters were like Slinkies. Not much good for anything but I can imagine that they would have been fun to push down the stairs. Most unforunately you would have to drive to far in order to find out.
I can confirm Tramp's story. There are two-toothed Sallys everywhere down here.

Where have all the ladies gone? You need to sing it so it sounds better. In my tenure JAM was the absolute best in terms of contributions ... sad she has soured on the site. Coming in second is my good girlfriend (you better respond to this honey!) Pink Lady. Miss them both, not to mention KK9 ... hey dude, what's your problem?
