Where is John Barton???

John is certainly very intelligent and he certainly thinks out side of the box and has come up with some incredible designs. But, with all that said he has little self control, and he doesn't know when to let Bull Shit slide off his back.

The funny thing is in most cases he doesn't even have anything to prove, his abilities and reputation speak for themselves. But John continues to try and prove that he is always right anyway even when he knows that he isn't. This in most cases in my opinion isn't really John trying to convince others as much as he is trying to convince himself what he is saying is true.

I have no issues with John, He has been a little slow on responding to emails recently, however, I know he is a busy person.

He has gotten himself worked up over this CTE stuff, but who on here doesn't get worked up.

WTH????....we actually agree on something....

I was impressed with John's passion for imrpovement to cases and new ideas.

I am in the process of having him make me a case.....He came up with an idea that I have never really seen done before...It will be a very convenient part of the case for sure.

I can't wait for him to gitrdone....:)
 
I agree. John's a good guy, passionate and a crusader for what he believes is right and in defense of those he believes have been wronged. There's times when he forgets this is just a forum with lots of people with different ideas and personalities, but all in all I think this world's a better place with him in it. If you're reading this John, hope to hear from you again on AZB.

Banned

There should be a separate section where a moderator lists:

1) Who got banned/suspened

2) What they did that got them banned / suspended

3) When they got banned / suspended

4) Which rule(s) they broke this time

5) any prior warnings/etc.

6) When a suspension might be over

There is way too much speculation floating around where the truth should be readily available. I realize the system does not require this, but it might help as a clear reminder where the limits and when they are crossed.

All I can say is wow. Everyone here is saying what a great guy he is, and how wonderful he is, and you are all entitled to your opinions. However, John insulted me, my Marine Corps, and my country, and therefore he is an enemy of mine. You can love him all you want, but there is no forgiveness for how he sees the United States of America. You can bash me all you want, but I'm patriotic as hell, and he is anti-American, and because of that, I don't care if he lives or dies. Semper Fidelis.

I suppose I'm not surprised. If I remember correctly, the last time JB got banned, mlalum did as well.

Those two just can't share the same cyberspace together. There's plenty of room in the sandbox, yet they seem to attract one another, and nothing good comes of it. It's not even a fun series of arguments to watch unfold, it's just nasty and mean-spirited. From both sides.

A shame, actually.

Joe, I understand why you feel the way you do and in my opinion John does have anti-American sentiments at times, I am not sure why he comes across that way.

But, John needs some help, don't know if the problem he has is due to pain, or mental issues but with that said lets hope he finds some peace of mind and a way to deal with his problems.

I am also a veteran and I served in the US Army for 23 years, I suffer from PTSD so I sometimes see similar problems in others. I think everyone needs to cut John a little slack and hope he gets some help, while he may not deserve it by his comments who knows what causes his comments in the first place.

John Barton served this country in the United State Air Force, and received an Honorable Discharge, so you might meet him some day Craig waiting to see a doctor at your local VA Medical Center.

I've had one transaction with John. He made me a terrific case for a very reasonable, if not downright cheap, price. He was willing to bend over backwards to ensure that I was happy with the case. He's someone I really hope to meet in person someday. That's one John.

The other John, the online John, is someone that all too often makes you want to reach through the computer screen, grab him by the collar and shout "Calm down!" He knows he has a problem with losing control, and at least that's step one in solving it. I hope he is able to solve it because he has contributed a lot to the forum.
