Where were the viewers????

I watched both days. Went to the chat twice and asked a question or two. In fact I asked 3 or 4 times and nobody acknowledged I was alive so I left and just watched full screen. I didn't come there to chat, I came to watch the match.

While I will enjoy watching Earl play I think it is a big gamble on the part of The Action Report. What are they going to do if something upsets Earl and he unscrews his cue or just starts banging the balls around after twenty games? I hope they put something in the contract that lets them sue him easily if that happens because I will expect a refund.

P.S. I'm assuming from your post that Earl was confirmed as the next opponent for Shane. I was only able to watch for about an hour on Saturday.

... That might actually be more worth the money! lol... I agree that they should have some kind of contractual agreement with these players, and they've probably already thought that out.... aside from that, Earl has already done the race to 100(+) before and I'm sure he can handle it.

I watched both days and patiently waited for Shane to become human... still waiting. I was logged in the chat room for very little time. Well worth the $20 just to see it live and help our sport. Can't wait for part two.

I hope your right because I really enjoy watching him when he is playing well but he wasn't making a fool of himself at tournaments when he did the 100+ last time, lol.

I just want to say that we purchased the live feed during our Great Southern Billiard event yesterday during our event. The tourney table was surrounded with players pulling for there favorite. We thouroughly enjoyed watching the match as did players in b/w there matches. Hats off to the Action report for doing a great job!!

I would like to know Shannon's reaction to what went down and his name being kicked around about an all-around challenge with Danny. PM me or call when you get the chance.

First off I did not realize that the count only reflected chatters.

I thought the webcast PPV was the nuts

I could not afford to take off 3 days (includes some travel time)

So it was an awesome deal for 10 bucks a day

Sorry to say I did not get to watch the 2nd day due to prior family obligation.

I started this thread to try to see if we cannot build up more support.

I know that JCIN and Big Nasty put out some serious effort to put it together and the effort showed.

The commetation was the flavor I like. Knowlegable, strong and straight to the point. Commentators opinions given were honest opinions not filitered to fit the uniniitiated.

The play was extreme to say the least.

I didn't buy the feed, mostly because I was a bit busy and do not maintain a pay pal account. Glad I didn't because my DSL provider was down the whole second day and have just recently read the final results!

I will be purchashing the DVD when available, keep 'em coming. :D

We couldn't actually hear the commentating b/c of the music in Breakers. But I will have him call you and you can relay the info.

I hadn't used paypal in quite awhile, and was surprised that I had a balance in my account (and surprised I remembered my password)! It was like finding a $20 in your laundry!

Good roll there.

This event was the greatest. Even though I blew two cnotes taking Corey, and I only got to watch Friday night because I was playing in a tournament on Sat, I thoroughly enjoyed the event and think it was a good value, and would buy in again without hesitation.

Thanks again TAR, you guys are the nuts!

I think it is sad that more people didn't purchase the feed just to support the guys that are working to make all of this possible. A lot of the people on here complain about the lack of coverage pool gets but don't contribute.

If everyone that praised the efforts and and offered their opinions would support these guys they may be able to keep this train rolling.

I wish them the best of luck and will likely purchase any future events whether I can watch them or not because I know they depend on loyal pool supporters to make this work. If I wouldn't have been able to watch any of it, I think it would have been worth what I paid for all of the interest that in brought to the board over the last few weeks.

These guys need our support and we need to give it to them. Lip service only goes so far.

My .02

Give it time. This was the first of many.Shane and Earl are next. Its gonna be a king of the hill thing and I'll watch every one Don:cool:

Just an FYI for anyone that didn't know. You didn't have to have a paypal account to pay for the PPV, I paid with my credit card.

Just speaking for myself, I cant commit myself to sitting in front of my computer for hours even if it is for pool. I dont want to miss anything either. Which is why I an getting the dvds.

Is that true? I hope so, these would be some great DVD sets to have.

I was there from beginning to end and would have gladly paid double!
I'll also be gladly paying for the DVD(s) the minute they hit the web site!

Quality

The Quality of the feed was awesome!!! I hooked up my computer to a bigscreen TV with an S-Video cord and the picture was perfect!

Hope they keep doing these feeds, it was great!

Thanks to all at The Action Report!!!

Ray

I wish tAR all the best and next time I'll be hooking the TV up using an s-video cable...good idea!

The comment about Earl being a risk is a smart one. The last thing they need as an up & coming service provider is have Earl walk out. That will put a severe sour taste in the mouths of their customers.

I'd also like to see the camera move to the foot end of the table and maybe have a second camera looking across the rack area like Accu-stats does...but that will come in time.
