I believe that Thursday night is the night to be at the Smoking Cue in Charlotte. I was there a year ago so I can't remember 100%. Anyways, they have a $10 entry tournament that gets a huge turnout and there is usually a ring game and some people looking to gamble head to head. Also, when I was there, they had a break pot that was at $15,000. Not sure what it's at not though.

Yeah, I know. Eddie Little was drawn that night and had a pretty simple out but kept getting just a little out of position and ended up missing the five. He made the four on the break and ran out another 3 balls for a total of 4 to take home around $6400. The table they use is pretty damn tight so it's hard to make anything.

Shannon Daulton is running one of his events at Shooters (I think that's the name of it) in Rock Hill, right outside of Charlotte this weekend. Should be a pretty good field.

I stand corrected, the name of the room is Breakers. But it's still in Rock Hill. Shooters is located in Greensboro and that tournament is next weekend.

I miss Mother's
Mother's Billiards used to be a hell of a place to get action in Charlotte. It is closed now and last I heard the action died a lot when it closed. There is another place close to mother's that had some action. Maybe USA Billiards?

Jeff Peele's place...."Breakers"...in Rock Hill SC....15 minutes from Charlotte. Chohan was playing Daulton one hole last night.

We checked out Breakers tonight. You guys all failed to mention that it's a private club! Brady was pretty cool though. Good place. Thanks for the recommendation.
