Which online vendor to buy a new shaft/supplies from?

Looking to see where people shop.

I usually go to the local billiard supply place for what I need, but they don't always have what I want.

I have been looking at seyberts (like their return policy) and a few others just haven't used any of them before.

Any input would be helpful.

Thanks,
Joe

Thanks I haven't looked at billiardswarehouse yet. I will take a peek.

Trying to spend some of my birthday money lol.

I always use seyberts i feel they have the best prices and inventory out there and being that i live in michigan i get the stuff i order really fast sometimes next day

Shopping around

I would have to jump on the Seyberts bandwagon. Very nice people to work with.

Seyberts is great. Ordered from them a few times. Also have used ozonebilliards. I live close to their physical location and can order in person and pick up. They give a discount for that since no shipping.

I prefer Ozone Billiards. Prices are going to be around the same no matter where you go, so customer service should be your priority. Ozone has a great rewards program, and Wes Graham has been great to work with. The one time I've had a problem with an order in the 4 years I've been dealing with them, he went above and beyond to make it right. Can't ask for better.

Most of the big names are dependable. They will usually send your order in a timely manner. Muellers may be the biggest. I have found Seyberts to have good prices. Pool Dawg and Billiards Warehouse are other big names. With the internet it is easy to compare prices and supplies.
Ebay may get you some good deals. Look for sellers with a lot of sales and good reps.

Again, thanks all for your input.

I did order from seyberts last night, now to play the waiting game

The only place I have ordered online from was prather cue and I just got a box of tips, they had a good price and shipped promptly. Although I did need to call the order in, so I don't know if I would say online.

MMike is correct, this site is full of people selling new equipment when they can. You can also find good buys with these guys also. There is also a new forum that many used because of the restrictions placed on sellers by this site. I don't know the site maybe someone will chime in.

Another idea is look to your local poolhalls, give them your business if at all possible.

Not to hijack the thread but, keep your money in your own economy...if everyone done this... your tables would be recovered more often, balls cleaned, rails aligned, etc. The internet has probably hurt our pool economy more than anything else. That's just my opinion from watching things change in the last 25 years. I'm sure some will disagree.

Thanks, I usually try to keep it local. The problem is pool isn't what it used to be 10-20 years ago around here, a lot of shops closed up :frown:

The pool hall I play out of has 9 9ft tables but no shop, I give them plenty of business and the owner takes care of me (He is kind of my mentor, I learned from him and the man who instructed him). The closest shop is about 45 mins away, they have supplies and give a decent price but selection is the issue, they do not carry a lot of what I would like to try out.

I use more than one of all the above mentioned because some suppliers have more to choose from (eg. pool cases, tips, etc.) and because you may have to wait for backorders (Muellers is famous for being out of stock a lot - from my experience).
