you saying that bringing that up is stupid i dont appreciate but im used to it. if pros dont understand its effect how can people watching at home.
I watched Corey destroy Frost playing even 1-pocket at Kolby's a few months ago. They played a 5 ahead and a 4 ahead. Corey won them both. The first in just under 2 hours.watchez said:My memory isn't great when it comes to all matches but I watched Frost beat Corey at the DCC a few years ago- 400-500 a game even one pocket. Corey must have been on tilt because 3 times he let Frost break back to back.
I think Frost was 3-4 games winner when they quit cause Corey had a match. Not sure if you would count that as a win. They might have broke even as I wasn't financially involved in the game. Sounds like Jaime knows better, which is probably true. Was the first time I had watched Corey play one pocket & was thinking that he could be the next great one pocket player once he learned the complete game. I never really see Corey's name in any one pocket tournaments so Jaime, does he just not like the game? Just curious.
I didn't know that. Then I am a genius when two years ago I thought Corey could be the next great one pocket player. If he drilled Frost, who seems to have the crown of best American one pocket player, sounds like Corey took the title. Corey must have figured out that it is an alternate break game as well.BVal said:I watched Corey destroy Frost playing even 1-pocket at Kolby's a few months ago. They played a 5 ahead and a 4 ahead. john schmidt said:no,what he wants is the 9 playing 10ball from you.you break too good for me chris and your solid under pressure. if you put me on the spot and ask to play even i will but i could find easier game than you for sure. here is what i propose. race to 100 for 20,000.i know you like your end of it and i dont blame you. we can play soon but you have to bet at least 20,000.the more i think about it i will play you a race to 200 10ball or 9ball for 50,000.win by ten.let me know.also for the record the 50 dimes can and will be raised if you say yes.heres your chance chris to really make a score.what else could you ask for
ill play even ,thats the best i can do.your a much better gambler but ill go out on a limb and try you for 50 dimes.we can play the 12ball ghost if you like that more.pick your poison champ.real bartram said:look on here post from jay helfert he said i dont see anyone offer js any weight so i said i would back alex you could get the 9 ball by the way i dont think you have played for 50000 but i have 2 times make a fair game i will take the 9 ball and we will see how you play for 50000 i know how i play for that kind of money do you?
have we all forgotten about a guy named cliff joyner? I still think he is the best American one hole player today.watchez said:I didn't know that. dirtypool40 said:funny how this thread went from a heads up, gun fight and who will play, to a woofing "come on you nit, gimme the nuts" rumble.
Back to topic....
StevenPWaldon said:Haha, I thought the same thing.
I guess what this woofing *does* answer is that Chris Bartram isn't one of the pros who will gamble with anyone even.
real bartram said:your right i never said i would but ill give you the 9 ball playing 10 ball
StevenPWaldon said:Woof woof. What's next, giving a local APA 5 the 7-ball?
So would you and Fatboy be willing to put John Schmidt in getting the 9 in 10-ball from Dennis Orcullo?jay helfert said:Johnny Archer doesn't get weight from anyone! Same with Rodney, if he's playing. I don't hear anyone offering John Schmidt anything either.
This is very doable since Dennis is there in the US right now.penguin said:So would you and Fatboy be willing to put John Schmidt in getting the 9 in 10-ball from Dennis Orcullo?
And to John Schmidt, would you take that game?
Exactly...playing on your own money tells people how they REALLY are playing....kevin s said:I think most top tier players would play anyone even if they are getting staked. Playing on their on money maybe be a different story. Just my 2 cents.
