which pros will play anyone even?

Gabe

would probably match up with anyone in 1 pocket. He did beat Efren at DCC.

yeah i did go overboard about the balls being dirty.its something i hate .anyway ill try to never bring it up again thanks.frankly i was not in a good mood and stressed out because i had to play a big match next day and should not have commentated.the fact that the players are clueless about how bad the table plays and refuse to clean things makes me wonder.

you saying that bringing that up is stupid i dont appreciate but im used to it. if pros dont understand its effect how can people watching at home.

That is the reason I have more respect for guys from the past. They didn't complain about situation or this or that. The radio was never too loud, the balls nor table was never too dirty...they used to just put up and run out. To me, that is more about what pool is all about. You adapt to the situation and play your own game. If you play on shitty cloth, you hit the balls harder. If you miss because you were sharked, you were PAYING ENOUGH ATTENTION. I guess people just like to use excuses for some things, whereas, others just attack it.

My memory isn't great when it comes to all matches but I watched Frost beat Corey at the DCC a few years ago- 400-500 a game even one pocket. Corey must have been on tilt because 3 times he let Frost break back to back.

I think Frost was 3-4 games winner when they quit cause Corey had a match. Not sure if you would count that as a win. They might have broke even as I wasn't financially involved in the game. Sounds like Jaime knows better, which is probably true. Was the first time I had watched Corey play one pocket & was thinking that he could be the next great one pocket player once he learned the complete game. I never really see Corey's name in any one pocket tournaments so Jaime, does he just not like the game? Just curious.
I watched Corey destroy Frost playing even 1-pocket at Kolby's a few months ago. They played a 5 ahead and a 4 ahead. Corey won them both. The first in just under 2 hours.

I didn't know that. Then I am a genius when two years ago I thought Corey could be the next great one pocket player. If he drilled Frost, who seems to have the crown of best American one pocket player, sounds like Corey took the title. Corey must have figured out that it is an alternate break game as well.

I'll play anyone in the world at any game...Now don't let me scare you with this bet but....5bucks a game! I know i know, i have really let the cqat out of the bag on this one but seriously you got action! =)

no,what he wants is the 9 playing 10ball from you.you break too good for me chris and your solid under pressure. if you put me on the spot and ask to play even i will but i could find easier game than you for sure. here is what i propose. race to 100 for 20,000.i know you like your end of it and i dont blame you. we can play soon but you have to bet at least 20,000.the more i think about it i will play you a race to 200 10ball or 9ball for 50,000.win by ten.let me know.also for the record the 50 dimes can and will be raised if you say yes.heres your chance chris to really make a score.what else could you ask for

look on here post from jay helfert he said i dont see anyone offer js any weight so i said i would back alex you could get the 9 ball by the way i dont think you have played for 50000 but i have 2 times make a fair game i will take the 9 ball and we will see how you play for 50000 i know how i play for that kind of money do you?

have we all forgotten about a guy named cliff joyner? I still think he is the best American one hole player today.

John your a US OPEN CHAMPION and chris has never won any pro tournament not even came close and u won't give him the 9 playing 10 ball you sir are being nitty....and dont respond by saying how am i being nitty im trying to bet 50 k because the bet doesnt matter if u got way the best of the game....

We want to bet 50k on chris running a 100 in 14.1 can we get that bet on the same table you guys just played on ..in a week right thats what u said u would give him to run 100 balls right?.....14.1 is not a tough game why do u think it is? Im a shortstop and cant hardly play and only played straight pool maybe 5 times in my life and I will bet you 5k i can run 75 balls in 24 hours or less....

Pony up and give him the 9 u know thats the right game for christ sake Gabe gave him the last2 playing 10 ball and robbed him and dont even say u dont play better than him..

Now we're really getting somewhere with the woofing..... Something good has to come out of this! I really want to see John bet that Chris can't make a 100 ball run in a week.... Its stealing!

funny how this thread went from a heads up, gun fight and who will play, to a woofing "come on you nit, gimme the nuts" rumble.

Back to topic....

Haha, I thought the same thing.

I guess what this woofing *does* answer is that Chris Bartram isn't one of the pros who will gamble with anyone even.

Woof woof. What's next, giving a local APA 5 the 7-ball?

Johnny Archer doesn't get weight from anyone! Same with Rodney, if he's playing. I don't hear anyone offering John Schmidt anything either.
So would you and Fatboy be willing to put John Schmidt in getting the 9 in 10-ball from Dennis Orcullo?

And to John Schmidt, would you take that game?

Personally, I'd REALLY like to see Jay Helfert play Jamie McWhorter for about 10 dimes on TheActionReport -- and I mean an actual match (not coin flipping or proposition shots). If the $$$ is posted, who cares if they like each other or not.

This is very doable since Dennis is there in the US right now.

I think most top tier players would play anyone even if they are getting staked. Playing on their on money maybe be a different story. Just my 2 cents.
Exactly...playing on your own money tells people how they REALLY are playing....;)
