Who are the AZBers you would most love to meet?

well if i put up my list of who i have already met i would be here 2 finger typing forever. Between here and the CCB i have met many many people and have pleasant memories of all of them....:D ..:D

I would love to someday meet all the people from this and other boards that i have not met....so hopefully, maybe, possibly a group of us can get together at valley Forge and meet and have a drink..................mike

And a ton more AZ'ers that just seem like great people.

OK, this is fun, but a lot of work ... I've never before resorted to Excel for assistance with a post. Thanks to those who posted nice lists, Renard, Sixpack, TheOne (burp), et al, they came in handy, a great start for me :D There are surely ommissions, and I appologise to all for them, my scorecard fades quickly :o

Of all these folks on the list (and you ommissions), there are some that I would love to meet for long discussions over a few beer (my buds from the non-pool forum spring to mind), some that I would love to meet while watching top-level pool (the pros and oldschoolers and general storytellers), some that I would love to meet in their shops (the cuemakers and machinery freaks), and a few that I would love to meet over a game or two (those who scored 676 or lower in this the 2007 DMMHT ).

Now, in no particular order (cough), the list :

Aye chihuahua. For whatever reason, I feel blessed being on your list Sixpack! :D

I shouldn't be posting right now. I should be asleep. But I just had a blast hanging out, closing the Mark II here with WuClan and Cory in DC. I just met Cory tonight for the first time and I have to say he is an excellent shooter!

It is a lot of fun hanging out here normally and hanging out later with other AZer's is an extra kick! I totally understand why this thread started!

There is no one here who I wouldn't like to meet so if your ever in town, let me know. I might not be the best shooter in town, but I always like to have fun!

:D :D :D

Cant wait mate, u gotta tell those tournament guys of yours to stop holding there April comp the same dates as Euro Tour! :(

I would love to met everyone here on Az, and I am excited about meeting some more Azers in the Derby.:)

I couldn't begin to say, just about everybody I guess... I'm a better writer than talker so I'm always a bit tongue tied face-to-face, but it would still be a pleasure to meet any AZBers I could, especially if they can carry both ends of the conversation. :)
I'll be at SBE (playing for a couple of rounds, watching for more) I hope to meet some of the folks I haven't before at that time.
Steve.

My list includes everyone I have interacted with on this board.
Drink and play seems to be the order of the day...
I will be at the SBE so if there's going to be a meet up I'll be there.

I have met
Jack Madden.... Last SBE a great guy and a fine cue maker and player
Scott Lee.... Worth the wait...Long lesson, incredible wealth of knowledge... We never got to play a game...
Jennifer Barretta.... Felt like a pubescent teen in her presence...all I could do was the toe in the ground aww shucks routine....

I want to meet the woman and here two "friends" in Billyards' avatar (if I have to meet Bill, too, well, OK...as long as he didn't get in the way)

Almost everyone else here are fine with me as long as they're civil.

this is best link although not pretty: http://www.epbf.com/sportsite/Sportcalendar2007.htm

I would reccomend the czech one in late Feb because Prague is an amazing city to visit and also pretty cheap beer, although it was -17 last year when I was there!!! :o It has been moved to a different venue 50mins from Prague this year but free shuttle at airport. Also this event will have over 300 entrants and 50,000 prize money too.

After that the Italy leg has also been moved this year, it is no longer in (the slightly dull) Monfolcone near venice but is in Naples! Apparently Naples is very nice, just outside the fabulous Rome. A gorgeous bay with swanky island of Capri off the coast and historic Pompei close by too.

Germany, Austria, aren't in the most rocking towns tourist wise but obviously the events are good, although the Austrian alps are stunning!

Next the Holland event has been moved from weert to a new location just outside Eindoven, the swiss event isn't in a great town either but the Malaga event in December is in a good town but the venue is a bit spread out.

Of all the cities listed, Prague is the only one I've been to. It was kinda interesting but not too much fun.

I think i didnt know the right spots-I spent most of my time at the internet cafe that was in the basement of this 1800's Apt house. They didnt put the lights on in the lobby or the stairs unless you rang the buzzer and the kid came up to get you. You had to walk through your average damp, dusty. cobweby basement around abandoned bicycles etc to get to the "cafe" which was strictly 'bring your own' water, coffee etc. There was a 24 hour KFC nearby which i have never seen in the states.

Anyway- We shall see- maybe Naples or the Alps.
