Who are the AZBers you would most love to meet?

The Voices In My Head Were Screaming For Ketchup

There's no one here I would not want to meet. Everyone's alright by me. That is of course as long as they're not psychotic killers, cannibals, serial murderers or some such thing (if they are then I would appreciate a PM from them saying something along the lines of "Dear Fats, I'm sorry I can't meet you but I'm very busy dismembering the bodies of my latest victims and the voices, oh God the voices in my head just won't stop, they just won't stop... AAAAahhhhhhhhh! Gotta run and slay some more folks, perhaps next time. Cheers!) :)

HA ! All that didn't deter you from coming to see ME.

PoolHall Maven (although I am sure we have already met)

I need a little hint, I'm sure I know you too...am available for a pool match at your convenience. Just tell me where/when. Just so you know tho, I am old enough to be Linda's daughter's mother. LOL!

Linda, looking forward to meeting you next Saturday at Capones--and renewing my acquaintance with Melinda too.

LOL, yes, we may be sisters from another mother. :p I am looking forward to this weekend too. We are getting in Thursday, so have all day Friday to practice. Are you staying in a hotel or driving back and forth?

And, believe it or not, Mr. Wilson, so we could work out our differences, drink a beer (or choice of beverage) and he could whup me at pool! ;)
I have been fortunate to have met the following folks from the forum within the last year:
cueaddicts
classiccues
Jennifer Barretta
Joe Tucker
searingcue

Now I am looking forward to meeting more of my friends who share a passion of the game and most of all a passion for detail workmanship in the cues we manage to collect.

But most of all, I am looking forward to the folks who have invited me to stop by when I am close to their location. With that said, I am really looking forward to having a chance to see and test out your ebony hoppe cue (one of your 3 Amigos) and even to see the outstanding design of the White cue in person.

Just for the day--Saturday. I have a new friend from New Mexico that I invited to come along for the drive so I'm not sure if I'm solo, but I have to work Sunday anyway. Any way my friend Shanna might know some of the ladies on the Hunter Tour so I asked her if she wanted to come along. She is new to FLA and I'm thinking we might try traveling to some Spirit Tour events this year.
It's about a 2 hour drive so I'll probably show up around noonish.
Welcome to Florida, the weather has been perfect hope it stays that way for you.
C U soon.

I had a great time meeting up with Alpine, 8 Ball Rat, and Purdman this weekend. I always look forward to meeting more AZBer's. Hopefully that will happen at Valley Forge.

I barely missed this post! I was in the Hague just a few days ago, but I had no idea there were any AZB people in Den Haag. Last Thursday, I went by myself to "Biljart Pool Paleis Het" on Wagenstraat 124, which was about 2 blocks from my hotel. Nice place, with about a dozen GCs, with Gorina cloth. I played 9-ball and drank beer with a local named "Flortist", "Florsist", or something similar.

I guess we (AZB posters/players) are everywhere!

Cory

P.S. FTR, I've meet a lot of AZB people, and based on that, the list of members and the list of people I'd like to meet are pretty much the same. Just last week in Chicago I was out, twice, till the wee hours of the morning with WuClan and Da_Poet in Chicago -- needless to say, that was a great time.

As someone who has only discover the joy of 9ball recently, I'd like to meet anyone for a session. However, as I live in Australia, this may be a long wait:) .

I would especially like to meet Colin Colenso, as he used to play in Ballarat where I'm now living, and rackmsuckr as the 1st person to give me a positive rating:D .

That is such a pitty! Biljartpaleis is one of the "say" places the most of us here normally do not go! Except when you love to play the people who love to past the dutchie..... Nothing against it: But i am allergic to the smell of it! There are a lot of places in the Hague where you could have played.... Like the Hague 5 ( gortstraat) en Dijkje Duinzigt ( homeplace of Alex Lely and Niels Feijen and me)..... to bad... we missed out...... to see eachother!

If I had to pick one person to meet(over a beer and a game of pool) that would be a tossup between Donovan and Mr. Wilson.

I've met so many...and I'm looking forward to meeting many more! But a few in particular stand out for me...

Voodoo Daddy - I'm pretty sure we have been at an event together...but I don't think we were introduced. Melissa

Yes we have, more than one but its my policy to fly under the radar. Next time I see you I will make sure we shake hands...it will be my pleasure

Peer, Jen, I appreciate the compliment.

I've met several people from the board and have not been disappointed by anyone.

That's a trend I hope is never broken.

Thank you all.

I Am Not Sure!

I think Mr. Wilson has a very nice tush. But he may squirm a bit to much for me. I like the Ned Beaty type. Perhaps if Mr. Wilson would put on a few pounds. Yeah, that's the ticket. I would have said Timberly or Barbara, but somehow I don't think that is gonna work out. You see, my nuts are better than Barbara's. I reckon, if Mr. W isn't available, AZ Housepro might do!;)
