Who are the AZBers you would most love to meet?

I know several people that post here and had plans to go to the DCC to meet as many more as possible. My room arrangements fell through though. Maybe next year. Or, who knows, maybe something will happen so I can still go. If anyone here is ever in the Chattanooga area.......give me a shout.

Depending on how early on it is in a tournament, I either play like I can't spell pool or I play pretty good. I am a slow starter and many times I am out of a tournament before I get warmed up! Most tournaments I have won came from losing my first or second match, so I could get in stroke.

How tall am I? 5'1" on a good hair day or when I am wearing my pool shoes, ROFL. Otherwise, 5'1/4" (shrunk a 1/2").

Of course the rest of the pro's on here, that would be a real treat.

The only person I've met on the board was Purdy and what great treat that was!! I look forward to it again!

Of the people on the board that I have not met, I think I would love to share a few stories from Freddy the Beard, Jay Helfert, Cornerman, girlwon1, Landshark77, Donovan, and many others that I'm sure I have forgotten.

I'm not gonna make it to the Derby this year, unfortunately. Hopefully I can meet many more of you at the Super Billiards Expo.

I have a significant disadvantage in this thread, having actually met and played with (OK. OK, gotten beaten by) Rackmsucker. Therefore I fear everyone else would just pale in comparison to the inimitable Ms. Carter. However if I were *forced* to go to the dregs I guess it would have to be:

Jimbo & Smorg - Not necessarily at the same time (At least assuming they are actually not the same person. I have always secretly suspected there's some kind of bizarre multiple personality thing going on there)
Williebetmore - I have a thing for cellars, sick I know

We would love to meet anyone who comes down this way.
We will take you on a tour of all the local pool halls. Tons of cool places around this area, Bakers in Tampa is one of the oldest pool halls in the country, CM's place in Seminole, if we get lucky you can meet Ray Martin and C.M.Lee, he owns the joint. The Flamingo of course it has been around since 1969, All the old top pro's played there, lots of cool pictures on the wall.

Let's see...AZers I have met are: 'lunchmoney' (Don), 'rackmsuckr' (Linda), '1proscoe' (Ross), 'dpaulnot' (David), 'krbsailing' (Ken), and 'f@steddie' (Ed)...hope I didn't forget anyone.

Now 'lunchmoney' and 'f@steddie' are local to me. Haven't seen 'lunchmoney' in awhile, as I haven't been over to the 'new' poolhall yet. But I see 'f@steddie' quite a bit...kinda shootin' 'buds'...lol. And I do get to see 'dpaulnot' occasionally up in Alger.

I still need to hook-up with 'runscott'...but am waiting on a 'special delivery' for that...lol. Also, would be fun to meet some of the 'South Sounders' as well.

Now....if I can ever manage to take a priate little vacation/road trip to the east coast....my list is longer: 'Koop', 'JimBo', the VA contingent...'Purdman', '8-ballrat', 'Matt24', Kevin Varney...et al. There's some of the Joisey-boys as well...Pharoah and Buddha162, JoeVan. Wrap the trip up in the Sunshine State...there is a couple of cuemakers there that are on my list. One of which I have a 'play date' with, if I can ever get my butt out that way...lol!

We all may not agree on everything but each opinion is a point taken.
