Can't just stick with one cue. I see my buddies who play with the same cue tourney after tourney (I realize this is far better for the consistency of your game) but I just can't do it. I'll play with something for a few days and then I'll see one sitting in the case that hasn't been dusted off in a while so I'll pick it up and use it for a couple days

Anybody else do this?

Used to. Had about 12 at one time, used a different one everytime out. Now only have two and pretty much only using the one in my Avatar.

i usually switch when my game starts to suffer for a about a week. unfortunately, it has yet to be the previous cues fault.

I'm guilty. Maybe we should start temporally swapping to save us both a lot of money! I have about 15 of em.
Peace, Purdman :)

I'm about the same on cue count :D :D

I bought a cue in 94 and used it until 2005. I didn't play from 95 until 2004 so, It was new to me still. I got Jacoby to make my dream cue and have no desire in changing. I have used it for 3 years and will continue for many many more.

I have the same snooker cue since 92. Guess I'm not one for change... Lucky for my wife:D or unlucky since she is stuck with me:confused:

I will PM you my email and you Pm me yours. Then we can share pictures and maybe save ourselves some money. :) I don't have any junk unless you hate Bludworth. Regardless of what people think about him, he has made some decent cues in his time.
Peace, Purdman :)

Part of the reason I play is to use different sticks. I've tried but I cannot be cuenogamous. I like to try all the pretty cues.:D

Yeah, that one. :)

I like to toy around with several of my cues. I switch between 4 or 5 cues all the time. I don't see any disadvantage in switching cues. My game can't get any worse. :)

I've had my Dishaw since '95 and I've used it more than any other cue I've bought since. It's currently the only playing cue I own. Previously, I had played with one cue a few different times for as long as four years.

Well, it could get worse than MINE :( !!! I read on another thread today that since I'm not at least an APA SL7, I'm considered to be just a banger  .

BTW, although I have a favorite cue that I use exclusively in league, I often use other cues in local tournaments (some which I have won) and always use a cue out of the wall rack whenever playing at home, with decent results. I'll run a rack or two every once in a while no matter what I use (not bad for a banger ;) ).

I'm guilty as well. I even switch cues in between games when shooting with friends at the hall I have my cues stored.

I've got 7 cues. 2 of them are at 2 different pool halls that I go to so when I go there I don't need to carry anything with me. The other 5 are here at home. One of them is my wife's cue so I shouldn't call it mine....but I paid for it so....

Anyway, I use all of my cues but I have assignments for them. My SouthWest has stepped up and become my 14.1 cue. It lacks the power and finesse that matches my type of stroke for 9-ball. In 9-ball I use use my James White under normal conditions. Japan is really humid so if it's raining, or just after a rain, the tables are slow and groggy. Under those conditions I use my Tim Scruggs. The Paul Mottey I just bought, got it from this forum actually, has 2 shafts that are like 12.5mm. It's like shooting with a toothpick. I'm having Paul make a new shaft for me so until then I only use it for fun.

Guilty.:o

Everytime I think I've found my "player" I end up finding another one in a short time.

Right now, it's my new Zac.
