Who has the best looking set of balls

Duuno about other readers but to my eyes, there are inconsistent colors
with the Raschig set in the photo, particularly red, green and orange colors
Even the appearance of some numbers seem to vary on some individual balls.
Nonetheless, Raschigs have been touted as the best made but not my cup of tea.

There are def, slight color variations with that Raschig 15 set - from last year. I’ll post up a pic of a recently acquired, new, never touched set of 15’s with a better camera - and again, the OP was asking what opinions we have for the most attractive set of balls - by design and style I was thinking

I know I have already logged in on this question but thought I would show that I put my money where my mouth is.

Aramith Super Pro fit my budget $250, although I liked the look of the Aramith Tournament ball better at $325.

I have a new set of Centennials I bought years ago for around $300 that I never use, just look at them. There beautiful.

That's odd. I played with Centennials for almost 25 years, almost every day, in the room I played in and they never seemed to be dirty.

That very well be true but keep one thing in mind; the rooms I used to play in jad Cents BUT I do know I do know for a fact ALL sets were polished at least every other day. They all did receive A LOT of play so main that's why but they always looked good. Also I remember a set or two that were clean " but were not slick - to combat skids I suppose " were always set aside for bigger action matches.

Considering the title of the thread, I sort of expected a collection of punchlines. But some really great pics - thanks folks.

Exactly: "Who has the best looking set of balls - Today, 06:44 AM", what a leading statement.

Well, I am really like my set of Centennials. On the other end of the spectrum is the Cyclop set, of which I really despise But I do also understand that it's all subjective.

Another vote for Centennials. Color wise though, I prefer the old Hyatt colors.

Cyclop

I know I will be in the minority but I prefer the Cyclop balls with Centennials coming in second and Aramith third. Yes, I have owned them all and regularly practice with the Cyclop. I sold the other 2 sets after I obtained the Cyclop. And of all 3, the Cyclop seem to stay cleaner longer.

Another note, at one time I owned all three sets and found the Cyclop weights to be exactly the same on every ball. Both other sets varied ever so slightly.

I have Centennials and Super Aramith Pros, like everyone else. But for some reason, this set of mid 70s Hyatt Vitalites may be my all time favorite. It came with a plain cue ball, which is nice too, but the one pictured is the old red dash cue ball.

All the best, for balls...

Anybody paying $500 for a set of pool balls should assume they come with sex...

On second thought, they do...with the purchaser on the receiving end.

I have always played w super pros and recently switched to cyclops. I really like them so far, stay clean better than super pros. Mine are tv colors with a green dot cue ball. I cant find much info on this color set and west state was the only place I found them for sale.

I agree. They have a bit different feel and the "click" even seems to sound a bit different. Took about a week for everything to feel normal. I am very happy with them.

No polishing, machine or by hand. The owner would occasionally wipe the rack, in the tray, with a sheepskin but that's all. Saw this in several different rooms, never saw or heard of the balls being cleaned.

Aramith tournament for me. I just bought a set as a xmas gift for myself.

I’m a little concerned that i may have gotten a previously used set though. I bought them from nielsen’s billiards on ebay. I’ve bought from them in the past and i trust them. But when i opened the box there was some dust on them (i dont see how u can get dust on them if its shrinkwrapped) and the 8ball and 2 ball had some minor scuffing on them. I thought about sending them back but i didnt wanna go through the hassle.
