i mean who is the best jump ball maker with a jump cue or full cue

Shawn putnam
Earl Strickland or..........

give your thoughts

good question

earl - did it playing with garbage for decades
corey deuel
svb
marcus chamat - for being 5 feet tall anyhow:thumbup:

im going to have to say corey duel...earl is the best full cue, shane has showed his jumping prowess in two major tournaments...his jump safe in his us open win and at derby...but corey actually makes magic with his jumps...makes the cue ball do things.

Shawn Putnam is awesome and a few years ago he was voted the best on tour by the other pro's. Earl all the way with a full cue but don't know now since he is playing with a 23 ounce cue thats 63 inches long.--Leonard

You captured the two best in my opinion with Shawn and Earl, though Earl does it with his playing cue better than anyone. I like Larry Nevel's jump too.

I havnt seen them all but what I have seen Shin Park is the reason jump cues should be banned
Ask Hopkins!

Players i have observed

A few players i have seen personally are Larry Nevel, Bobby McGrath and Bruce Barthlett.

Just from what I have seen, I think
with a full cue I would say Earl 1. and
Smokey Bartlett 2.
With a jump cue, James Baraks is pretty sickening.

Full Length Cue Ball Jumpers!

1. Ermond Bullard ( bar no-one! ) Tx.
2. Gary Seay, Okla.
3. Jerry Wayne Strickland, Arkansas
4. Rooster , Vivian,La.

Earl is no doubt the best with a full cue, but the Taiwanese have jumping with a jump cue down to a science. I think Chao Fong Pang or Yang Chin Shun might be the best in that regard.

Best I've ever seen, if he even plays any more, was Sammy Jones. I've never seen anyone else make the jump shots I've seen him make. Absolutely unreal.

yeah............

I havnt seen them all but what I have seen Shin Park is the reason jump cues should be banned

yeah he is incredible! a few yrs back him and dennis orcullo were in the final of the Bill Staton memorial tourney in Virginia and every time Dennis played a good safe Shin Park not only jumped them but made them and played shape and ran out. Dennis still put something like a 5 pack on him and won at end but Shin Park is amazing with jumps!
