Who is your favorite player?

Mike/Peaches Fuller---because we ahev been friends for a long time and Mike is on the verge of winning the big tourney at any time=)

Favorite player???

The only true way of determining who your favorite player is.........

You probably have a few but who is your "FAVORITE" pool player of all time???

Try it without looking at the answers......
please don't look down until you do it, you'll love it I promise

1) Pick your favorite number between 1-9

2) Multiply by 3 then

3) Add 3, then again Multiply by 3 (I'll wait while you get the calculator....)

4) You'll get a 2 or 3 digit number..

5) Add the digits together

Now Scroll down ..............

Now with that number see who your Favorite Pool Player is from the list below:

1. Willie Mosconi
2. Minnisota Fats
3. Efren Reyes
4. Buddy Hall
5. Mike Sigel
6. Allen Hopkins
7. Luther Lassiter
8. Keith McCready
9. $Bill
10. Ronnie Allen

I know....I just have that effect on people....
One day you too can be like me.... Believe it!

P.S.: Stop picking different numbers. I am your idol, just deal with it!!!!

Efren by far is my favorite player and Earl my 2nd favorite player but I'm not allowed to pick them.

I've enjoyed watch Bustamante and Parica over the years too. Parica's an awesome shot maker and Bustamante has the prettiest stroke in pool. I like Bustamante's behind the back stroke, and I've copied it because I can't shoot left handed.

Alex, Rodney, that guy from Canada that shoots fast, and Billy I. Johnnyt
Your fast shooting Canadian might be Luc Salvas (sp?). He is pretty entertaining and doesn't need to get geared up for the speed pool competitions. Alex and Keith stand out for me as favorites.

Todd<once racked for Walden in Enid for 5 hrs. Witnessed a 9 pak, two 7's, and so many 5 and unders I cant count. After I only managed 9 games in 5 hrs James unscrewed his Jensen and said "kid you must really love the game." Hahaha. I happily picked up the table time and realized an immediate jump in speed when matching up with others closer to my own abilities.>

Talent- Mick Hill, I know he doesn't play much American Pool but he's just amazing, such a shame he's focussing on English Pool

Ability - Mika Immonen. Can't describe it.

Work Ethic - Niels Feijen. Always organised and structured. He's got a plan on how and what and that's what he'll do!

Attitude - Rodney Morris. Always a smile on his face no matter what. Always trying to lighten the room up.

Fan Appeal - Alex Pagulayan, he always makes me smile.

Sportmanship - Ralf Souquet. The most honest, honorable pool player I know.

Intelligence - Darren Appleton, he knows so much about the game it's too much sometimes... lol

Character - Tony Drago, Alex Pagulayan, Ralf Souquet, Fabio Petroni and Rodney Morris all for different reasons.

But in the end if I had to choose 1?
Ralf Souquet.
Pool wise he's one of the kindest, humblest, nicest, honest and best players.
Personally he's all of the above but also a great friend!

Best player I have ever seen .... Efren

Players that I enjoy watching...Most of the top guys but especially Keith McCready, Danny Harriman, Dave Matlock.

I have watched well over 700 accustats, many more if you count the number of times I have watched the same tape multiple times. Of all those matches, the players I have enjoyed watching the most were:
1) Efren (of course). He just comes with shots that you cannot believe.
2) CJ Wiley in dead punch is a sight to behold. Talk about natural ability, wow!
3) for 1p I enjoy watching Chohan for the fireworks and Steve Cook was my favorite mover type 1p player to watch.
4) I like to sweat the all offense type player and in that vein, George Breedlove, Kim Davenport and Dennis Hatch are fun to sweat.

Of the current players touring today, I think I enjoy sweating SVB in dead punch the most. That break of his is just the NUTS!

I just realized I left off a few guys:

Danny Medina (circus shot outs!)
Nick Varner (never give up, 100% on every shot)
EARL (the best USA 9ball player ever!)

I'll break it down into the categories you mentioned -

Talent- Corey Deuel - he amazes me every time I watch him play

Ability - Johnny Archer - Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound...

Work Ethic - Nick Varner - nobody works or practices as hard as Nick.

Attitude - Tony Robles - Win or lose, he is always smiling. In our game, Tony is the standard for class and dignity.

Fan Appeal - Keith McCready. Nobody works a room (or a crowd) like Keith McCready.

Sportmanship - Tony Robles/Thorsten Hohmann.

Intelligence - Oliver Ortmann. His brain operates in another dimension.

Character - Ralf Souquet. I have not met a kinder, more honest, or more determined player than the Kaiser.

Overall, my favorite players to watch are Corey Deuel, Mike Sigel, and Niels Feijen.
Can I steal this reply other than the Mike Sigel part?

Men - Johnny Archer - Hoping to meet him in Atlanta!
Women - Jasmin Ouschan - What's not to like she is absolutely gorgeous!
If someone told me Jasmin would marry me if I put 13 racks of 10 ball together on a 4inch pocket 5 by 10 with a messed up slate, I'd run 14.

Rudoplh Wanderone, the one and only

every sports needs a Minnesota Fats and pool has not had one since his passing

Well I'm Canadian so I'm a little biased, but it's always easy to like the players that are most familiar to us.

However either way I have always found Alex Pagulayan the most entertaing to watch. He has so much heart and courage when he is in money matches and has proven himself in the biggest tournaments.

What I like the most is the ability to be so nuts and funny off the table and once he's at the table it's like a totaly different person. It is shocking to me that it's the same guy that can be doing impressions of Chris Tuckers stand-up routine one miniute and then totaly focused in a match the next minute.

Also agree that Luc Salvas is fun to watch, I would have loved to see the Salvas vs. Drago match, lol.

Brittany Bryant and Sarah Rousey are my favourites amung the ladies.

Corey Deuel... aggressive shot maker but not reckless, constantly evaluating how to get that competive edge, and simply fun as hell to watch.
