Who is your favorite player?

Earl, Shane, and Jasmin for the beautiful strokes. Earl's is big and fast and powerful, Shane's is just really long and smooth and relaxed, just like his demeanor as well. And his break is brilliant. Jasmin has one of best strokes ever as well, it's got a lot in common with Earl's but is uniquely her own as well. And she plays the game like a man, like a pool player should do. She doesn't baby all the balls in centre ball using a snooker style stroke as well either.

Mike Sigel too his style of play is just so cool and his stroke is really unique too. And I sometimes copy his head twitch as well lol.

The five most interesting players to watch play are:

1) Efren Reyes
2) Efren Reyes
3) Efren Reyes
4) Efren Reyes
5) Efren Reyes

... but, my favorite player is definitely Ralf Souquet. Not only is he one of the most thoughtful and greatest players of his generation, but he sets the standard in his impeccable dress and demeanor. He's a role model in every sense of the word.

I think that sums it up!

My favorite to sweat...

Earl for sure my favorite. But aside from that Johnny Archer (fantastic accomplished played and class act) and I like Steve Davis.

Mike Sigel, Buddy Hall, the Miz, and Efren. It's like a different game watching those guys think through and execute a rack. Not to mention those are like pool's holy grail(s) of strokes.

Edited to add: Earl the Pearl. How could I forget?

Justin.

Hard to nail it down to just one, this is my favorite players by game

Current:
1 pocket - Owen & Frost
Rotation games - SVB & Alex P.
14.1 - Schmidt & Harriman

All time (any game): McCready & Efren

Pool- Mika Immonen, just too smooth around the table.

Snooker - Ronnie O'Sullivan, I know this choice is cliche but all I can say he is awsome, he is the only player who leaves me in disbelief on a regular basis.

favs

I like Ronnie Allen for one pocket. He was just tooooo good. I like Efren too, but it's always Efren this, and Efren that. My favorite player was Busti for a long time, but my true favorite of all time is the one I got to see up close and often and that's James Walden. He is simply a machine. He is one cool customer and has some pretty huge nuts. Another one I would have to say is a local favorite from Tulsa, Oklahoma and that's Shane McMinn. This dude won the Shooter's 10-ball ring game last year and came runner up this year. That's impressive.

I'm not gonna mention any other big name pros, cause I never really got to watch them in person. I'd have to say that James Walden or Shane McMinn could give anyone in the world somethin to cry about. What do I know though? I'm just a dumb okie.

Minus Efren (because he is the pool God), Earl (because he is so controverial), and Alison...

Who is your favorite player and why?
Besides just talent and ability, consider work ethic, attitude, fan appeal, sportmanship, intelligence, character etc.

minus Efren and Earl,

I would pick Billy Incardona and Keith McCready of generally
known about pool players, however my favorite is an old
road horse presently in Seattle named Bill Cress.

He told me recently that "pool was once my passion, then it
was my job, and now it is my sentence."

a lot of wisdom in that statement - imo.

What a great quote because it rings so true.
