who should check and test a new training method and report to the public?

My suggestion:
I want 2 players that don't give a lot of value to what is called
"new aiming/aligning/voodo or whatever systems" So these kind of players that use ghost ball or feel alone.

I want 2 players that already apply a system like CTE, PRO ONE, 90/90
or double the distance.

I want 2 instructors!
One instructor with concrete knowledge and ability to use CTE or ProOne or 90/90-or double the distance.

I'd like to try it out. I'm a proficient user of the ghost ball aiming system.

He is giving it away for free ONLY TO A FEW SELECTED players. Therefore, IT IS A SALES GIMMICK. Get it?

What's the difference between what he's doing and Dr. Dave (as an example) posting clips of VEPS (for free) in the hopes people buy his DVD? Get it?

You can't prevent him from doing anything everyone else does.

If any anyone with anything having to do with aiming wants to post something, it's heresy. He's not selling anything in this thread. Sure, he DOES sell the system, but gimme a break. Nothing different than what Dr. Dave does and PJ is MIA in demanding Dr. Dave into the For Sale section.

Count me in, I'm in the middle of CTE Training and would be interested in looking into other systems just for references.

@ Shaky
youre in...

I don't fear it :-)

...hopefully for you, you will get it.
Thanks for having had "the cojones" to post!

Get some friends out there that vote for your name in this thread!

Right now you're at the top of the list...

My vote is for Shaky. Good luck and keep an open mind.

I'm an old guy, 68. But then, I think old dogs can learn new tricks as long as they aren't too difficult. Basically I'm ghost ball aiming...look for a contact point, shoot for that remembering that the balls are round so the contact point is the key.

But I also have physical challanges...diabetic, so my eyes can change focus, bursitus in my shoulders, wear galsses (20-400 corrected to 20-30).

So, I find myself being happy with a 6 ball run in 8 ball...If I could find myself doing a break n' run now and then, I'd be absolutely giddy!

I do not have a home table...play on a 9' Brunswick at a hall for a few hours per week.

I just ordered the Lee Brett DVD from Lenny. I hope it contains some help for me.

Shaky is leadin
in the feel player section

all the others are as well registered!

...to clear things up:

Any member of this forum may name himself or somebody else to test the program.

Please state clearly if you are a NAYSAYER

-or a YESSAYER to systems like CTE, PRO ONE, DOUBLE THE DISTANCE, 90/90 or SEE that applies one of the systems already

Or if you are an instructor pro systems with expierience/ or contra system.

The persons that will be named the most often will get it in case they want to.

Thanks

I would like to give it a go. I am neither yay or nay. I just want to improve and if I have to HAMB or stand on my head with my finger in my ear to do so I will!

I developed my own system of finding visuals and stepping into the shot 20 years ago. I did not call it visuals or stepping in. I apply those terms today after learning them here on AZ during my search for improvement. In fact I think I do a bit of a pivot and didn't know it. When I use CTE/Pro1 it feels very comfortable.

I was a paid instructor but of golf. Today I teach anyone willing to listen in the pool hall. I truly enjoy watching folks "get it".

I have recently purchased CTE/Pro1 dvd and have a strong respect for Mr. Shuffett. I think his system has merit on the grounds a player can improve using it. However, the ability to verify the geometry/physics of the system is missing....at least for me so far. But then again I am not as sharp as Dr Dave or Mr. Jewett. ;)

Yes I believe this marketing , but if this is something that is useful I don't mind. At least this is not $30 chalk, by the way is on sale now for only $27.95 plus shipping.

Ekkes I don't know how much help I would be but I have cherry picked your original SEE system and about every other system I have ever seen. I am a ROTE player but I build my ROTE thru the use of multiple systems...

I'm in the middle of tons of things but I do need to get back on the table and sharpen my sword and polish my armor.... How much time do you think will be needed to test the system over 2 weeks? Are we talking 8 hour full time job days or 1-2 hours a day will get it done?

Knowing the time requirements may help to narrow the field of test cases.....

Bummer I just ordered 2 cubes at 29 on flEaBAY.......

@OKIE
you are in the box.

CTE/Pro ONE are very good systems!!!

My goal was to learn of how Stan Shuffet presented his method, as he does this very good (old teacher!) put my own knowledge and my SEE approach into my new production and to explain more in detail what happens step by step from the player's view and from above/behind me (incl. all angles from 0° - 75° splitted up in 3 categories that I filmed with an HD camera right below my dominant eye ) I am concretely breaking down all movements from stepping into the shoot to the point where the tip of my cue comes to a rest behind the center of the CB.

This is the most important part for the ones who want to learn something new. Beeing able to percieve the balls like I do makes it easier to learn it I think!

CTE certainly isn't geometrically "exact" for more than a handful of "system" cut angles - but it doesn't have to be in order to "work". Having a few familiar "landmark" alignments/cutangles can be extremely helpful in aiming and setup.

If there's a question about CTE's "exactness" it's why do we need to pretend?

I use my own sort of feel system combining tangent angles and ghost ball as well as for a ball frozen to the rail I use the hit and hope method doesnt work everytime

I would really like to try it though!!! Ive been shooting for 2 years Im currently a B-rank player for collegian leagues and I run out 8 ball racks 6/10 and 9ball i usually get a 6ball run if i dont runout.
