But on any given day, Sigel can still beat almost any player in a normal race. He would get clobbered in long races with the elite of today.

I don't think so.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSlaY9nMzGI

Mike Sigel can still play world class, not winning an event does not mean he does not have it any more. In a tournament with 20+ of the top pros in the world only one guy ends up winning, the other 19 guys have not clearly lost it and cannot win anymore.

Sigel in a long session if his break is on would be no fun for almost any pro in the USA outside of SVB whose break atm makes him too much for anyone not from Asia.

Sigel never gets lazy with shots and does not miss much, he is consistent as hell and in long sessions that makes him very dangerous.

I'm surprised it took you this long to show up. And you even made a little photoshop. How sweet.

You are wrong about Alex though. He could face shoot a nun on camera and still be my man.

Justin,
Faceshot like Clint Eastwood or like Japanese porn?

Nick

All of this talk about CJ brings up a memory of a very famous and dominating pool player who quit for several years - and tried to come back.

Mige Sigel had moderate success.

He was off the playing circuit for probably 10 years or so.
He made cue sticks and other things.

He played in one event in France and totally dominated for several matches - in fact he may have won the event.

In the US - he did real well in a couple of straight pool events - for a round or two and then could not keep that speed up.

The same in rotational games - even in the IPT 8-Ball.
Mike struggled in the US Open 9-Ball.

So - there is an edge that a player looses - and some may never get that 10% edge they used to have. Is it mental or physical - or both?

But it can be very tough to get back.

But on any given day, Sigel can still beat almost any player in a normal race. He would get clobbered in long races with the elite of today.

Just my .02.

Mark Griffin

Not sure what the .02 is worth... ok Sigel at age 60 (or so) would get clobbered by the elite of today, so would CJ (who is 12 years (or so) younger) get clobbered? If opinions differ set up a match and find out.

You pick.

Or both.

I will always be a mark for Alex. That guy has more heart and spirit in his little tiny little finger than most people I have ever met have in their whole body. Even when he screws up I back him because I know the guy doesnt have a malicious bone in his body. He just does dumb shit sometimes. More than one time I was with him when he did it.

I'm hoping CJ sets a match up himself, I don't think many Americans beat CJ
I also don't think CJ is scared to match up, maybe he will call somebody out
As of today CJ hasn't been beat to many times... I believe he is still cold blooded when he's in action

Neither do you
I ask you the same question
Who is us ? Got a frog in your pocket lol

Well Kman - there is one way you can find out. Publish a list of the world's top 20 players and put up $30,000 for a pick em and let CJ play the one he picks. Since you think that he has NO chance it should be a lock for you no matter who the opponent is as long as they are ranked in the top 20 world wide.

Race to 100 format CJ would need 30 on the wire against a hand picked list of 20 from the top 50 he is by no means a world class player now and I would argue he never was..

prove I played in a 3k entree fee tournament.....prove you are telling the truth

Actually I just got a phone call that I was correct. You were there in 2007. That or someone forged your signature on a 2007 event flyer and wrote "2007" under it. I can get a picture of it if its a big deal but I don't think it is.

It doesn't really matter either way.

I am done helping you get views. Good luck on your future endeavors.

I was there, it was the 3k ring game I said didn't happen with me. I paid $100. (I think) and played in some ring game tournament but there was no streaming video that I can remember, it was a bar table event. It would be hard to imagine there was streaming video at that tournament, there were no rules, it was just "honest effort" kicking at everything. It was the stupidest format I've ever seen, without a doubt.

So you have had a grudge against me for 7 years because you say you ask me to play on your streaming and I ask for money? So, it's your position that when you ask someone to do something for you they either do it or "else" you burn with bitterness for infinity?

That sounds like a healthy way to live.

As far as I know we've never even met and I have no idea how you play pool. Were you in the tournament, or do you even play pool?

"You got a phone call?" Yes, prove I played in a 3k entree fee tournament.....prove you are telling the truth and this grudge isn't really over a girl. I heard you have a girl you liked at the tournament and she dumped on you, and I assure you I had nothing to do with that girl.

If I paid 3k for a pool tournament I would remember. I remember winning 5k gambling and I was over 4k winner for the trip, it's impossible that I lost 3k in the tournament like you say I did. That's bogus.

You need to mature and grow up and treat business with more dignity if you ever want to succeed at any level. I've not ask you for anything and would have gladly helped you succeed if possible. I guess you can do it by yourself with the magic rack gaff. 'The Rack is the Teacher'

Who would you actually back CJ against in 10-ball off of that list? Dont answer "there are at least blah blah". Name the actual names of the guys off that list that you actually thing CJ is a favorite against. Who knows, maybe a huge backer will cough up enough cash to make flying them over to take off CJ worth while.

This is great... A favorite against!??? Now that is classic funny
CJ will not be playing anyone on that list as well as lesser pros here in America. It simply will never happen. No backer's for CJ period.

Name 10 players from the US and I'll pick 5 of them and play

Name 10 players from the US and I'll pick 5 of them and play them all back to back races to 20. No time limits, I'll play 5 matches back to back. Then after that I'll play one of the other "5" a race to 100 the next day. Roll Out Rules of course, don't want me lucking out. ;)

That seems like a fair deal, and we can play on the 5/10 so an old "has been" like me will really have the worst of it.....is there something wrong with this proposition? 'My Game Will Be Your Teacher'

If you do, can Mary stream it?
