Ron Haley or John Showman

Ron would be a definate consideration, and Im glad he is doing well. He may not be as big as name as some cue makers, but from being around him a lil he is definately a great guy and one heck of a cue maker...

If you talk to him ask him if that Hall in Rogers is still open, he showed me how to cover rails..

SPINDOKTOR

Searing...On the List

Haley...Not on the List but probably my 1st choice!

What? Keith Josey is chopped liver???:)

If you read the first age it says that there are many other great cuemakers, I can only fit 10 on the list

I just did it off the top of my head...
wasn't trying to leave anyone out

For playability I put down a Tascarella , but for a cue as a work of art, I love Rick Chudy's cues

Daniel:D

None of the above ....

I vote "None of the Above", since Alex Brick is my Cuemaker of choice for an all-out custom ....... and it won't be outrageously priced ...

I checked Searing but have really wanted a Murray Tucker fullsplice longer than anything else available. They have to be awesome cause people don't resale them very often.--Leonard

Searing And Searing And Searing

As a craftsman myself, I haven't seen anyone that puts together a cue as well as Dennis. His knowledge is so advanced that it's scary. As a second choice I would have to chose John Showman because his knowledge and work ethics are on the same page as Dennis.

I didn't expect to hear that... LOL

Alex definately makes solid cues, I have had many of them, and interested to see what his newer cues play like with the new pin....

Adam, I'm surprised you don't have your own line of Bricks.... :D

What would they be called?

Oh, but I do:

The J/B cues are known as "BALL BUSTA'S"

The players are "POINT and CLICK SELF SHOOTERS":)

I just had my dream cue made by one of the best...Bob Frey. Bob worked with tim scruggs for 8 years and if you own one of tim"s cues, you probably have a lot of bob"s work . Had this cue in my head for 15+ years. If Dan Janes still made cues I probably would have had him make it before I met Bob, but Dan doesnt make cues anymore himself ( I own a 1974 ivory joint Joss that Dan and Tim made for me in the old garage and its a great cue. But Bob makes the best playing cues IMO and his workmanship is second to none. Plus his prices are great , And he is a great guy.
p.s. This cue is all ivory and ebony ( everything white is ivory..everything black is ebony...and it has the only black steel pin (3/8 10 ) that I know of.

Did you contact Dan Janes? He has custom 1/1 cues on his site with his signature on them.... His son makes some of them, but I think the ones with Dan's signature are his...

An engineer current on models of shock absorption, shock reduction, material design, and dynamics.

I wouldn't consider allowing some after market manufacturer design any of my work tools.

I am very happy with my Omen but if I could have a couple more they would be a Thomas Wayne and a Tad. I think I would still play with the Omen. I have been lucky enough to have had alot of good cues. Rambo, Balabushka, Kersenbrock, Dan Janes Southwest, Hunter, AE, Stone (little known but great cue maker), Ohman, and Coker. The Omen, Coker, AE, Kersenbrock and Hunter were my favorite players. I think the Omen plays as well as any of them.
