Check it out....I picked up a negative rep for my 'Dennis who?' comment. Comedy gold. I have owned more Searings than anyone else in the universe and he is the greatest maker. I suppose a sense of humour is something that is acquired over the years and I also suppose not everyone knows me so....tough on me, ha, ha!

Why would someone give you negative rep for that?

Richard Black. Had him make me a cue I designed over the phone with him. That was back in '93 and it's still the most solid cue I've ever shot with.

Hello Si

Dennis is the man. Just how many Searing's do you own? How many have you had?

Thanks, Scott

Hi Scott

Now that would be telling. The people that know...know he, he! Bit of a cop out. I know you own a few. I like to keep a few cues back and not show them all on AZ. I will just say more than 15 and less than 30. I have photos of most of them.

if i was to play with it make mine scruggs ,hoppe style, brazilian rosewood or anything else, its the best playing cue for me

If you could have any cue maker in the world (from any era) build you 1 personal playing cue, and cost was no issue.... Who would it be?

B]

HMMMM... Any cuemaker in the world... Any Era.. Cost no issue..

Gus Szamboti without a second thought...
I'll do even better... I'll tell you the cue I want Gus to make for me...
Ebony forearm
6 point (Ivory of course)
Gold peacocks in the points...
Then give Gus creative control of the backend..
An Ivory handle would be nice, but probably not for my everyday player..

I would of said Barry, but he's making my "Szamboti twins" currently...
Don't get much better then them..
Best,
Ken

Maybe one day i will be able to compare a Szamboti to many of these other cuemakers...

I'm not surprised by the results of the poll....

Dennis Searing being far ahead of the other choices... Hard to believe Paul Mottey got less votes than Tim Scruggs, but I know how many Scruggs fans are on AZB...

It is too bad that I couldn't include about 10 more cuemakers... It would have changed the outcome of the poll I think.....

Anyway, thanks to all who participated.... I think these kinds of things are fun
