You guys are quick! I didn't even have my poll up yet and I already had to comments. :)

I remember Shane saying he would like to play Busta. I think that would be a great match. But I would love to see him play Efren. I think that's the best match. I've watched the COM between Efren and Earl countless times. One thing I always wished was that that match had some great color commentators like Grady, Billy, & Buddy. It will be awesome to watch Efren & SVB with the great commentators that TAR selects.

I can't wait to hear who they have in store. I really want to see this next match to be more competitive and see Shane tested.

id like to see him play orcullo or yang just to see how he stacks up against the top tier players in asia in a long race. of course its not my money on the light now is it?

schmidt or nevel

i would like either of those 2 play. save the reyes and such for later. i think schmidt or nevel would be tight. dead horse race. jmo:eek:

I want to see him play Orcullo so they can stop bickering lol. But in all seriousness I would like to see SVB knock down all the Filipinos down one by one, lets start with Orcullo :D

Eric.

If I had a 2nd vote it would go to Larry Nevel, just because of all the talk about him.... I want to see him play

Yang got my attention when he beat Orcullo. Shane has already played Dennis numerous times. To me, the next logical matchup would be SVB vs Yang. Save Reyes or Bustamante for a future clash.

I picked Archer because by the time the two them got through picking lint off the table it would be the cleanest table in the world. Of course, each rack could take 20 minutes.

YAWN !
I can't stay awake that long.

Doug
( wake me when it's over.... imo )

I picked Archer because its a matchup that would seem to be easier to accomplish. Both are in the USA and many feel that Archer is still better than Shane. Shane beats Archer for the cheese and I dont see any other Americans stepping up. Maybe Rodney but I dont know. Rodney or Archer is the most feasible for there to be action imo.

He could match up with a lesser player - but perhaps big gambler. Someone like Lil' John Macias or someone like that. Of course he would have to give up some weight - but if it could be agreed upon without just "stealing" weight, that would be really interesting to watch, and I'm sure someone like that would put up 10K.

Hey, I'll offer up myself. I'll take 80 games on the wire to 100. All the breaks (no way would I let SVB break...sheesh...), and wild 4-10. I "might" have a chance with that spot. I'm just saying......

Seriously though, I would like to see him play Johnny Archer, Dennis Hatch, or Cliff Joyner.

I agree that Archer and Rodney would be good choices.

Let's get all the Americans out of the way, such that Shane (assuming he wins, and that's a fairly decent assumption) would be regarded as the undisputed money king of America. Then he can take the Filipinos one by one.

Maybe I'm going in a different direction, but I'd like to see something different for the next one. It would be like if Tiger played EVERY tourney....a fun thing to watch but too much of a good thing...yaddayadda.

I'm thinking 1 pocket for the next one...race to 30 over a few days.

old school: Varner vs Hopkins

new school: Frost vs Joyner or Chohan or Daulton I think would be a great game.
