what about any of our boys from the UK? we have quite the contingent, who would you rate over a long race?
That would be my vote too.. I've seen SVB and Alex play plenty of times.. I'd love to see Mike and Dennis grind it out!
Dippy is the last person I'd want to see play. I saw more than enough the 10 minutes I watched him play at the DCC.
This would be my first choice as well.

My other idea is the Billy Jean/ Bobby Riggs type. So many of the nits here on AZ want to say that a female player could play even with a top male player (whatever). Let them put their money where their mouth is...just saying.

I would not be disappointed if Dippy got in the box to kick things off, especially against a world beater. It would be fitting considering that Viffer and TAR both have "Action" for their middle name and Dippy already started a thread essentially calling out the world to play him at the Studio.
Alternatively a reprise of a classic TAR match would be cool, like SVB / Alex.
