Who would you replace from the Mosconi Team?

You might get a little action on the Rodney, Shannon match. Rodney has no chance what so ever!!!!!!!!

Rodney is a great shot maker, but his cue ball control is not great. His pattern play is horrible in comparison to top level players. Way overrated in my book, but he is a great guy as far as a person.

rodney would be a slight favorite over shannon in 8, 9 and 10 ball but any other game shannon would probably be the favorite

i agree rodney morris SUCKS!!! his pattern play is so terrible that he couldn't even beat efren reyes in the finals of the biggest 8 ball tourney of all time, this efren guy is like 50 and he's legally blind, if rodney had any concept of pattern play he would of won that final for sure, cause we all know how important pattern play is in 8 ball

oh ya he also lost in the semi finals of the 2005 wpa 9 ball championship against some asian guy that doesn't look to be a day older than 12, who does this rodney guy think he is anyway???

Hard to tell

Hohmann for Drago

Anyway, I'd rather have USA vs Germany or at least more Germans.

Souquet, Hohmann, Ortmann, Engert and Feijen (who has played in German premier league for some time including a 150 and out in the first visit)

This years lineup is pretty good apart from Drago (one for the show, huh?) where as in the past years it was quite a bad lineup with guys like Steve Davis, Marcus Chamat, Steve Knight
I agree completely only I would replace Ortmann with Mika. That is the team that has the greatest chance to beat the US IMO.

My Team America would have been Van Boening, Archer, Deuel, Nevel, Ulrich.

I like that team-Louie definitely should be in there based on play over the last year. I think Stevie has the edge over Nevel though. Larry doesn't have the nerves for the Mosconi Cup.

No chance whatsoever? Im sure you would lay at least 8-10/1 for a sure thing like that then in a race to say 21? Let me know. I might be able to set up a game- I could help you make some real easy money. Whatyasay?

I would be curious to know how Rodney would have played in that match if he hadn't known he wasn't getting paid>>>> And no, Shannon will not beat Rodney playing 9-10 ball.

Later

I agree ,there not going to replace anyone so instead lets show our full
support, You know, they read the forum too.

"He has made us look bad enough times to give him the boot"
Earl makes your team look American in attitude, agressiveness and on the edge. Thats good imo keep him

this may be the craziest thing ive ever read .......ever !! lol

Earl was at one time one of the best 9-ball players the game has ever seen. At this point in his careeer his short game and defense is still up there with the best. The problem is that he can't make the long shots with anything near the percentage he use to. The other top players know this and just leave hime long if they don't have a lock-up safe to put on him. I don't believe he will ever win another major again. I don't think Reyes will either.

It happens in all sports. None of us like to see are hereos game slip, but its just apart of the cycle. Johnnyt

wake up -kick there but back to europe

Only in america - Do people dog the team before the game is over. It is a team.Just because you think. the 5 best players are on the team doesn't mean shit. It's the five that can play together, gel and come up with a plan to win with the choosen players. Its how they match up against the other team. I'm making a list of the complaints and sending it to your unfavorite, favorite players just because I can. mark they are winners before and after the match. Its comments just like your that mad Mr.danny Harriman leave this forum- it doesn't make me very happy mark

Maybe replace Morris with Parica (who is a US Citizen, now).

I could not agree with this more. Parica has completely adopted the USA as his home and proudly calls himself an American. He is also one of the most stable and confident players under the types of pressure that the mosconi cup puts out. Parica is not going to miss many shots or safeties in those short races and would be great in doubles play as a partner for almost anyone.

I am sure the guy would be honored to play for the USA in the Mosconi Cup, which is commendable coming from a country where our premier player who had lived here for years and learned most of his game here dropped us like a bad habit to play for the Philippines.

I've heard it through the grapevine that he wants to play for and represent the US in the Mosconi Cup.
