Who's the BEST barbox player today?

There is really only one game I truely love to watch on the box and that's bar rules 8 ball. Behind the line and all that other crap. Best game to sweat IMO.

Agree with Mikey, let SVB try and fade DA playing some 8 ball...

"Love to watch bar rules 8-ball?

A great player once told me, "Bar table rules are for those who'd rather drink than think!"
Two-foul BIH is a great game, whether it's 8-ball or 9-ball, but not great for spectators... it's too slow.

James Walden is a VERY good bar box player.

Another one is T.J.Davis.

Shane for obvious reasons, Glen Atwell, Corey Deuel, Chip Compton, Hennessee..... As for tournaments, take away the winner break format and shorten the race and who knows, all kinds of crazy stuff happens.

After last night I'd say it's me. I whooped an APA6 in no time.
<EARL>How strong is that?</EARL> :D

In all seriousness, whatever happened to Jason Kirkwood?
Wasn't he considered one of the best for a while?

SVB first
followed by pick 3 any Filipinos such as Alex, Alcano, Orcullo
then Corey Duel
followed by Johnny Archer
Darren Appleton
James Baraks
Larry Nevel
Scott Frost
Donny Mills
and then in no particuliar order
Chip Compton
Jon Hennessee
John Morra
Mike Dechaine
Glen Atwell
Stan Tourangeau (sp?)

I'm sure Hatch and Morris can play on a bar table too, just haven't seen it.

I know in the early years of Diamond bar tables, I watched Corey give Larry Nevel the 8 playing 9 ball at the Derby and Corey bar b qued him as Larry's game didn't transfer well at that time to the Diamond table.

You do know alex is not an american right?

Myself, Alex, Shuff and Eberle were having breakfast in Dallas after a tournament. The waitress looked hispanic. I jokingly asked if she spoke Fillipino. Her eyes lit up and off she went.....Tagalog city. Then Alex came alive. They were going off like long lost cousins! lol.

Some of the craziest stuff happens at late night diners.

U.S. Bartable observations:

1. Stevie would play better without the plumbers crack (pants that fit for TV table please)
2. Rodney Morris is a Barbox champion
3. Stan Tourangeau is a beast on the box
4. Glenn Atwell is always a contender

There's a lot of them. If you go poking around, you will run into one.
They can clean your clock.

When and where. I will play him even on a Diamond Bar Box.

You pulled that one out of the archive. But sorry to say no Sir. You hitting them too good Senor. For the record, Chip gives you the 7 in style, class and hair.
