Is it the guy who shot JR?
Jeremy Jones is pretty badass...as is CJ...alot of fantastic shooters in the area, very strong scene around here, wanna test your mettle, do it in the Tuesday night 9 ball tourney at JR Pockets in Denton, some big names show up there as well as some unbelievable not so well known players.
Does Cory Flood still play. I always thought he was a good stick.---Smitty

His skills are diminished as age is sneaking up on him
The only problem is that he is still the smartest player alive
But then ,its not an IQ Test
So if you are not afraid to play and want to take a shot at
the money,call Billy,but expect a contest
Tommy Rey is also willing to play and has deep pockets
Then the Bumper man has deep deep pockets,he can not play that good so he needs a lot of weight,
so if you are not afraid to give up weight Jeff is a good one to play
JJ plays ,well you know JJ and expect him to do what he always does,he is getting older but he is not afraid to play
Tony the floor man plays under the best players but he bets $500 a game 9 ball and will go too
all this said the tables are poor,the action is scarce and you might just want to give me the nuts and play $500 sets,but my stamina is low,I am old and taking radium treatments every morning at 8 AM ,the pool room opens at 11AM and I can only play for 3 hours without tiring
Not only that but i play under all these players and need weight
But this is what you have to look for if you come to Dallas
FT Worth and Houston offer better opportunities if you are looking for action
especially easy action,Dallas is tough action and you will know you have been in a fight even if you get the money
but you might win $19,000 from any of the above,with the exception of me
My wife allows me a short leash .but I will try some $500 games,if I think I can win
then again i expect you to be looking to win also

i doubt that you could find a weaker player than myself or bumper
who is willing and able to play for $500 or more with any person
willing to make a game
Hager Sr has been gone for over a decade,Jr seldom comes through,Joey Barnes is not a Dallas resident but comes through on occasion and is usually willing to match up
he gave me 4 hit and the pick and cost me $2000 before he became a one pocket player
He is good action and we like to bet on him,or against him
I mention the people who would play a decent sized game
I play so little that I am reduced to practice pool and $10 pool just to do something
It would be a mistake to assume I won't play high
FUNNY STORY
I was playing a $5 game and a fella stops the game to side bet
I said yes,I would bet
He said "what can I bet?"
I said $100 per game,hopefully
He said $400"
I said postas he was a stranger to me
We played
the only thing that has reduced me to playing so cheap is
the lack of action and lack of ability to play in the same class with better players
without a huge spot
these spot s sound like the nuts,but i could give you a long list
of players who have beat me with gigantic handicaps j
Richie,Billy,Cliff,rRnnie,Joey,JJ,toney, Jersey Red, Little Al, and a host of others
4 balls ,the break and more as a minimum
Some have tried and failed
I prefer winning,but I love to play just like everyone
I don't stop by unless i want to play
so ask me
